Social Content Manager

The Creative Content Editor coordinates, develops compelling content stories and campaigns
to drive engagement through social media platforms. This role is designed to inject brand
voice with a character and tone that aligns with social strategy, laddering up to support
the Company's strategic pillars. This position reports to the Creative Director.
Consistently delivers on-brand content that's relevant, uplifting and often disruptive
Generates impactful promotional content to drive direct response campaign performance
Exhibits a high retail IQ that understands merchandise categories across the enterprise
Monitors the latest news, fashion and technology trending in the social space
Tracks competitive landscape
Utilizes content calendars to monitor stories, build concepts to align with marketing initiatives
Coordinates with art directors to leverage enterprise assets including photography, graphics and animations in an effort to maximize cost savings
Develops storylines for video content, working with hosts, styling team, art directors and casting and ensures all copy needsscript, talking points, supersare covered
Directs on-set and in editing to ensure cohesive storytelling
Executes revisions from Creative leadership, Strategy and Legal stakeholders
Writes on-brand, on-voice social copy and directs other writers to deliver compelling content
Partners with Writers, Designers, Project Specialists and Marketing stakeholders to maintain collaborative relationship between Creative and Strategy teams
Seeks out relationships with social influencers/bloggers to increase exposure to key initiatives
Collaborates with Customer Analytics team to better understand purchase behavior and drive traffic with optimized ROI content across multiple channels
Core Capabilities & Accomplishments:
Bachelors Degree in Journalism, English or related area
3-5 years experience in creative advertising copywriting and social media
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
Expertise in understanding social media platforms, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Snapchat
Innovative, strategic thinker with superior verbal and written communication, organization and presentation skills
Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects; adapting quickly to unpredictable
shifts in creative strategy and sales directives
