SOC Analyst

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a SOC Analyst. This role is on-site in Chantilly, VA. The SOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and expanding the network devices while working closely with engineers to maintain the domain system.

Responsibilities of the SOC Analyst:

• Performs engineering support and system administration of applications and systems to include installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, and back-up/restore.

• Supports Assessment and Authorization activities related to cybersecurity technologies, where applicable.

• Provides insight into efficiencies that can be gained from the current workflow based on an understanding of the customers' requirements.

Qualifications of the SOC Analyst:

• Must have active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.

• Minimum/general experience: 10 years of related network experience (firewalls, routers, switches and load balancers).

• Security + Certification.

Compensation for the SOC Analyst:

• Pay Rate: $71-75/hourly.

• Long-term contract with possible extension/conversion.
