Soar Engineer - Active Interim Secret - Leesburg, VA - Hybrid!

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a SOAR Engineer to develop and build out a fully funded, 5 year long, FAA SOC environment. This role will be hybrid 3 days on-site, and 2 days remote in Leesburg, VA.

This opportunity requires an Interim Secret clearance and the ability to maintain that level of clearance for the duration of employment.

• NO C2C OR 1099*

Responsibilities for the SOAR Engineer includes:

• Create, create, and manage tools and automation scripts to expedite security operations

• Work together with cross-functional teams to comprehend the needs for automation and put effective solutions in place

• Offer direct assistance to SOC operations and contribute to SIEM engineering initiatives

• Opportunity to build out your own engineering team!

Qualifications of the SOAR Engineer includes:

• Must posses a minimum of an Interim Secret clearance

• Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Science degree minimum

• Experience with Splunk

• Proficient in Python scripting

• Experience designing, developing, implementing, integrating, and maintaining of SOAR playbooks and tools for automation

• Active CISSP certification OR Splunk Certifications

Compensation for the SOAR Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $120,000 - $145,000 based on experience
