Very Large Physician Group: Chicago Loop Our client, that provides physician management services on behalf of the U. of IL Physician Group, is seeking to hire a Senior Revenue Cycle Director. The Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), under the direction of the COO, is responsible for managing revenue cycle Directors, processes, and technology that supports all Revenue Cycle departments and payers.

The Senior Director of RCM will develop and manage policies and procedures to optimize all facets of revenue cycle operations driving efficient, accurate, and compliant billing activities to maximize reimbursement. This highly visible position provides for a highly competitive salary, bonus and benefits package. This is a hybrid position, but if you live in bordering states, WI, IN, KY, MI, remote is acceptable.

Do you have at least a BA/BS in accounting, business or a related field? How many years of medical revenue cycle management experience do you have? What is the largest number of physicians for which you had RCM responsibility?

How many years of previous experience do you have with Epic Systems, Resolute/Prelude? What was the largest annual gross dollars billed/collected in a dept. you managed? Are you OK with reporting on a hybrid basis to the Chicago Loop?

What are your minimum annual salary requirements? Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Leads & directs operations and activities for all RCM functions aligned w/ organizational goals.

Leads & directs implementation of strategies/processes to continuously improve the RCM processes. Leads a high-performing RC team by fostering a culture of accountability & teamwork. Lead and manage large revenue cycle projects such as audits, budgets, and technology enhancements.

Consult and work directly w/leadership across managed care, payers, and with technology to advise and consult on key processes & resource needs to improve operations, productivity & collection rates. Develop key relationships w/ Payers Representatives and Industry leaders to respond to trends in the healthcare industry to drive any necessary changes or improvements in revenue cycle mgmt. activities. Develop, approve, and monitor operational policies and procedures to ensure they meet objectives.

Guide, coach and manage the team of RCM Directors. Partner with the COO to shape the RCM strategies and to lead the planning and development of team operational policies as needed. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Bus.

Admin, Healthcare Admin or related field required or an equivalent combination of relevant certifications such as Epic Resolute Professional Billing and experience. 7 years of experience in patient accounting/other RC leadership roles. Previous management experience required. Extensive experience with Epic Systems, PB Resolute/Prelude.

HIPAA Compliance, applicable regulatory knowledge Possess extensive knowledge of medical billing, CPT/ICD-10 codes, insurance adjudication/processing practices including Medicare/Medicaid rules & regulations & HIPAA Compliance. Desired Skills Strong time mgmt. skills w/ability to meet deadlines, follow through, and handle multiple priorities. Extensive knowledge in collecting/analyzing, & reporting RCM data to identify opportunities to improve.

Proven record of managing & coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities, and critical deadlines. Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) skills with ability to interact with all levels of the organization and represent the organization when interacting with clients. Ability to present and communicate with various audiences including the Executive Team. Proficient in MS Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
