Job Description:

Manages the FP&A function in support of centralized reporting routines across Banking and Markets FP&A teams. Key responsibilities for the role include the following:

  • Lead and develop team

  • Business support lead for Global Markets Research

  • Drive operational excellence across financial planning group and enhance related control environment

  • Partner and manage the activities off-shored to FAKC India to support the various FP&A routines

  • Support the month-end close and discuss the month's results versus estimates and forecasts

  • Support the quarter end processes which in addition to the close routines include Investor Relations Meeting with the CFO and IR Teams and the Earnings Release routines (validation of press release, earnings presentations, supplementary financials and the speech)

  • Contribute to the annual strategic plan, quarterly updates to the plan and presentations to the Board, MTM and Senior Management

  • Support various ad hoc projects

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10-15 years of experience in financial services or the banking industry in a leadership role

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business related field (advanced degree preferred) or equivalent experience

  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders

  • Strong project management skills with focus on delivering well-controlled, sustainable processes

  • Strong communicator (verbal and written) with ability to influence

  • Seeks to build relationships and collaborate with teammates

Senior leadership position in Global Banking and Markets Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team, part of the GBAM finance organisation. FP&A provides financial information used for management decision making and external reporting, is responsible for delivering and analyzing balance sheet, revenue and expense performance metrics, and assists with reporting and influencing business strategy.

VIEW JOBS 6/19/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-09-17T00:00 Overview The Commercial Finance Manager serves as a finance and strategic business partner to the Commercial Organization, including its VPs and Directors. This position will report to the Finance Director, Commercial and is responsible for supporting new and renewal business projects, monitoring and comparison results of new and renewed business, and supporting the annual budget process for the different functional areas within the Commercial Organization. In addition, this position will interpret the data to identify opportunities to make improvements with the sales and renewal process, in order to drive higher margins, higher customer satisfaction, and customer retention. The Commercial Finance Manager will be intimately involved in the TRIMEDX sales process and work closely with Pricing, Customer Service, New Product Development, Business Development, FP&A, HR, and other Commercial Finance Managers. This role will also serve as the financial lead for commercial-related projects and scenario evaluation for assigned customers. Responsibilities * Lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, monitoring, and financial modeling for Commercial Organization * Support the functional VPs and their Directors by providing pro forma calculations and document preparation for the new product development and Deal Review processes * Conduct forecasting and monthly variance analysis on deals approved at Deal Review * Collaborate with departments (especially FP&A) to collect data and evaluate variance from initial pro forma presentation to Deal Review * Collaborate with FP&A and Operations to help determine root cause for above variances * Ensure the variance identification feedback loop creates improvement within the pro forma building and forecasting for information to the Deal Review * Lead the annual budget process for the Commercial organization * Participate on projects related to growth strategies * Attend Commercial strategy and ad hoc meetings as required * Collaborate with other Commercial Finance Managers and the Finance Operations Business Partners to ensure best practices and consistencies across TRIMEDX * Develop and produce reports to measure the effectiveness of improvement processes * Other responsibilities as assigned from time-to-time by the Finance Director, Commercial; the VP Finance, Internal Audit; or any of the other Finance or Commercial leadership team members Qualifications Education and Work Experience * Bachelor's Degree in business or related field is required; masters preferred * Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience; prefer a minimum of two years of FP&A or Sales Support experience * Solid understanding of financial analysis and general accounting practices * Ability to digest data and identify opportunities to drive improvement * Good general business understanding and knowledge of business operations and the "Business Partner" concept * Excellent analytical skills required * Data interpretation capabilities and not simply data manipulation ability * Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint * Ability to travel as needed (up to 15%) * Ability to work independently and interdependently * Strong Organizational Skills * Self-Motivated Knowledge * Comfort with, comprehensive understanding of, and ability to build P&L statements * Strong business understanding * Working knowledge of GAAP * Proven success in developing useful business reports (especially in Excel) and explaining them to executives * Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to Sr. Management and groups * Proven ability to streamline processes and financial reporting * Ability to digest data and identify opportunities to drive action * A Https://Www.Medxcelfm.Com/ Charlotte NC
