HME has an immediate direct hire opening for a SMT Touch-Up Operator II. Job duties include inspection and performing touch-up soldering and repair of components for all surface mount printed circuit boards under a microscope. This position will be on 1st shift working Monday
Essential Job Functions
Uses microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering and perform post re-flow inspection and touch-up.
Maintains general cleanliness of the SMT Production area and equipment.
Maintains quality records as instructed by Supervisor.
Ability to work under a microscope for long periods of time to perform inspection.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings.
Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Experience working in a LEAN Manufacturing environment
Strong leadership, mentoring and training aptitude
IPC J-STD-001 Certification
This position may require overtime or a change to the workweek schedule in order to meet customer demands.
