This is a contract opportunity only.
As an Assembler contracting with our Morgan Hill, CA office, you will have responsibility for performing electro-mechanical assembly, including SMT soldering, chassis assembly, and final instrument integration.
Need to be able to read assembly drawing and procedures, including workmanship standards.
Assembly activities require a very good attention to detail.
Should be flexible to work on a variety of products and processes, as well as work effectively in a team environment.
Key responsibilities include Achieve TAT goal and Inventory Accuracy.
This position will be reporting to the Customer Service Manager based in Morgan Hill office Requirements Having at least 3 years experience in electro-mechanical assembly and SMT rework Good communication skill Good attitude Be able to move a large & heavy test equipment (Approximately 50 pounds) In order to be successful in this role, the following competencies and behavior skills are required: Capability and willingness to do multiple tasks required.

VIEW JOBS 11/9/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-07T00:00 Description: The Mechanical Process Engineer performs product specific assembly line design including creation of all assembly instructions, development of all tooling (assembly and material handling) and assembly training. They are the process experts in this area. They are also responsible for managing quality improvement efforts within the mechanical assembly area. Objectives: 1. Meet product efficiency targets. 2. Drive high manufacturing quality as a minimum expectation of the team. Lead regular quality circle meetings with their respective manufacturing area. 3. Manage quality activities to achieve a first pass yield goal of 100% (process defects only) at QA and test on all managed assemblies. Requires development of quality plan and monitoring for all products that do not meet goal 4. For assigned customers, must attend regular customer quality meetings with the PME and present system assembly quality data including root cause and corrective action plans 5. Perform DFM analysis on all mechanical assemblies 6. Train mechanical assemblers for all processes and any product that they build 7. Develop a manufacturing plan for assigned products and complete all assigned assembly line, instructions and tooling development to plan commit dates Competencies 1. Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. Must have some mechanical design experience (design and development of custom assembly tooling would meet this requirement) 2. Superior, creative problem solving capabilities 3. Be able to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities 4. Strong desire to train and share knowledge 5. Excellent knowledge of Solidworks, Auto CAD, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook 6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 7. High customer service attitude 8.
