Smart Grid Integration Manager/Electric Utilities Leidos is seeking a qualified candidate to assist in the planning and implementation of Smart Grid Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system components, applications and interfaces in support of utility industry clients. Responsibilities:
Working with our clients, partners and team members to plan, design, implement and operationalize AMI systems.
Experience working in the electric, water or gas utility industry and a technical or engineering background using demonstrable problem solving skills are desired. Lead project startup activities and manage implementation through operational turnover Communicate effectively with business partners, clients and Leidos team members on the status of project implementation timelines, risks, issues and problem resolution. Manage implementation & integration of AMI device firmware and server software Work with Smart Grid Operations team members to review, analyze and resolve AMI alerts, events and faults Assist in troubleshooting AMI software application issues quickly and effectively Provide technical and product support to clients Assist in developing knowledge base information, application documentation and procedures Ensure that work complies with Leidos' Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), systems development life cycle methodology, policies, standards and procedures Must be able to multi-task and effectively prioritize within a high volume/time sensitive environment
- Typically requires Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Engineering, or Business and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters (MIS) with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience Experience in the Utilities industry and AMI systems helpful Customer service oriented; must possess attention to detail and a sense of urgency Solid understanding of AMI technology (Meter Data Management Systems, etc.) Knowledge of AMI systems methodologies, design, and implementation Have strong analytical skills and problem solving techniques Work well within a team environment and independently Possess excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
