Troubleshoot repair and maintain a full range of recreational vehicles and equipment, such as but not limited to: tractors, lawnmowers, golf carts, etc.
Diagnoses malfunctions, determines needed or required repairs, repairs, and tests small gasoline and diesel engines including electrical systems, geared units, inboard and outboard gas, diesel and stern drive motors and components.
Times and adjusts engines to operating tolerances, using specialized testing equipment, such as compression testers, analyzers, test benches and specialized measuring instruments.
Performs maintenance on transmissions, differentials, brakes, starters, generators, radiators, regulators, and paint and bodywork on assigned recreational vehicles.
According to manufacturer's manuals, tears down, adjusts repairs, reassembles and runs operational checks on equipment.
