SMALL BUSINESS LENDING INVESTOR PARTNERSHIPS WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Responsible for onboarding and managing small business (conventional and SBA) loans purchasing transactions and ongoing servicing of such small business loans purchased portfolio; and in turn building a network and managing ongoing partnerships in the small business communities.

Small business loans purchasing partners may include partnerships with organizations like Certified Development Financing Institutions (CDFI), and/or secondary market institutions/firms. Responsibilities include partnering with CRA department in identification, implementation, and execution of partnership opportunities such as small business loans purchasing and/or small business loans originations with correspondent banking partners aligning with bank's overall objectives; duties include vendor onboard, partnership agreements review and assessment, ongoing reporting, remitting, reconciliation, research, ongoing credit portfolio performance management, determining root causes, identification and observations inclusive of overall risk including credit portfolio characteristics and portfolio performance, resolution, and remediation for serviced loans. Responsibilities include overall analysis and measurement of viability and key performance matrices of such partnerships to ensure optimal success in reaching CNB's goals and objectives such as alignment to CNB's risk tolerance and necessities of such loans within CNB's CRA assessment areas and criteria.

Financial and reputational analysis should also be included in scope. Coordination, preparation, processing, and onboarding of such partnerships with documents for onboarding new vendors to the Vendor Management Office; This role will also maintain procedural documents and provide analytical and progress reporting. What you will do Build, solidify and maintain a small business community network.

Coordinate all vendor management tasks inclusive of working with external vendors and internal employees. Establish professional and working relationships with internal partners. Ongoing partnership and engagement with CRA department, vendor risk owners and coordinate closely with the vendor risk assessment team to ensure proper engagement and governance is being followed during the onboarding, due diligence phase of vendor management.

Identify and assess community partnerships' viability aligning with CNB's goals and objectives for small business loans purchasing. Maintain proper information/documentation and records related to the vendors for both internal and external audits. The Investor Accounting Analyst is responsible for performing reporting, remitting, reconciliation, research, root cause identification, resolution, and remediation for serviced loans.

Portfolio management includes such small business loans credit performance oversight, due diligence, observations of such portfolio performance adhering to 2LOD's standards. Assist with the development and communication of vendor management standards, processes, and procedures in alignment with VMO policies and procedures. y and goals. Support, track and report on vendor management milestones, activities, and all incoming requests for vendor related assistance.

Responsible for ensuring all investor guidelines are adhered to including accurate and timely reporting and remittance requirements using internal servicing systems, database, and reporting tools. Coordinating with Community Lending and CRA to manage the process for submitting and tracking requests for charitable contributions. Ensures the completion of accurate and timely reconciliation of all custodial, clearing, and general ledger accounts within the established timelines.

Routine reporting to PBB leadership on key metrics Manage the onboarding process coordinating with the vendor management office. Coordinate all vendor management tasks inclusive of working with external vendors and internal employees. Ensures exception items are handled in compliance with corporate and investor policies and requirements. Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 3 years' experience in small business loans purchasing Minimum of 3 years' experience in third party engagement/vendor management experience in the financial services industry Minimum 3 years in small business credit portfolio management and performance analysis Minimum of 5 years in small business community development (CDFI, secondary markets, SBIC, Non-Profit organizations) Skills and Knowledge Strong project management skills (organizing, planning, reporting, documenting, driving tasks to closure, etc.) 3 years of project management or related experience strong qualitative analytical skills, working with data and drawing conclusions Seasoned problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Ability to create influential documents, presentations and group or team facilitation. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools; specifically, Excel and PowerPoint Compensation Starting base salary: $122,535 - $208,715 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
