The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), a national leader in scientific research and development, is seeking an experienced STANDARD Missile-2 (SM-2) analyst.
Analyze and evaluate overall SM-2 missile and air defense weapon system performance creating and utilizing detailed digital simulations.
Masters degree or higher in electrical engineering, physics, or mathematics. At least 25 years of experience in guided missile system design, integration, test and performance evaluation. Familiarity with high-level programing languages such as FORTRAN, C, and C in a LINUX environment.
30 years of experience supporting product life cycle activities associated with the SM-2 MR program. Strong proficiency with the SM-2 MR 6DOF simulation.
Special Working Conditions: This is a part-time position.
