Position Summary:
Responsible for the daily repair, maintenance, and operation of the slot machines (on a component level), slot data collection system, progressive control systems and related equipment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Promotes superior guest service.
Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
Repairs all monitors, MPU boards, driver boards and integrated circuits.
Performs repairs of all electrical and mechanical slot machines, components, and peripherals.
Performs slot machine troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and ensuring regulatory integrity and compliance.
Maintains current knowledge of casino related equipment, support equipment, new games, systems, and modifications to existing equipment.
Tests and repairs equipment using appropriate test equipment, as required.
Maintains parts and electronic components inventory of Bench repair area.
Identify and tag obsolete equipment and process for destruction.
Safeguard against theft and ensure the security and integrity of all slot machines, keys, radios, and casino property.
Interact with supporting departments to maintain the overall floor operation according to established department, company, and state gaming policies and procedures.
Promote outstanding customer service, safety, and security.
Report developments which may affect the casino operation to slot management.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in electronics or related field and (1) year of experience in an electronic repair related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
Successful completion of an advanced skills test administered by the department, to identify individual proficiency.
Must be able to lift 50lbs, reach, crouch, and stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to use an "in-ear" communication device daily and have the dexterity to service slot machines.
Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
Must be willing to work in a smoking environment when on the casino floor.
Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures (wear a face mask, other appropriate PPE, social distance).
