This position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with product flow, process efficiency, and product quality while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

Team member is responsible for ensuring product flows consistently throughout the slicers and or peelers, making sure that the slicers are continuously loaded with product and making sure that unpeeled product gets removed to prevent any disruption on the line. Team member must be able to accurately record and document all information in the Plant View System.

Team Member is responsible for loading and operating slicer machines. Team member must be able to assemble and disassemble machines for set up and tear down of production. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Applicant must have good communication and organizational skills to ensure process is followed in compliance with product processing procedures and regulations. This position involves working in a cold dry environment, lifting up to 10 pounds, repetitive motions, reaching above shoulders, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, climbing, standing and walking.

Requirements

Applicant must have at least six months of continuous work history with same employer within the last twelve months to be considered for this position.
