Registered Sleep Technologist

Shift: 3rd shift, 6:30-7:30p, 40/hours a week

• Sign-on bonus available - starting at $2,500 and up*

As a Registered Sleep Technologist at North Knoxville Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Polysomnographic Technologist from an educational institution that is recognized by the U.S Department of Education
• TN state license as a Polysomnographic Technologist and valid BLS certification required

About the Job:

• Under the direction of a physician, administers various sleep studies in order to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders

• Performs routine patient assessments, scores sleep studies, and documents other test results. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

• Performs a variety of tasks; works under general supervision

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the sleep medicine field
