Retail Associate:

As part of our Retail team, you will represent the Casper brand by providing best-in-class service to all of our guests. We view retail as an experience: one that is unique, personalized, and hospitality-driven. This space (and you!) will help carve the path for Casper's offline footprint. Your role will be to help our guests feel right at home and discover the wonders of a good night's sleep.

Nuts and Bolts:

This is a part-time, hourly role based in our Bellevue store. You must be available to work at minimum 3 days a week with weekend availability.

When you're not catching zzz's, this is what you'll do

  • Provide exceptional service to every person that walks through our doors

  • Follow up with customers through clienteling and e-mail correspondence

  • Help Casper maintain a healthy sales pipeline by collecting guest contact information and inviting individuals to trial our products

  • Maintain the highest level of product knowledge and expertise

  • Maintain the visual integrity of the space

  • Create and process in-store sales

  • Process and receive inventory replenishments

  • Assist with setting up and executing community programs and events

  • Record and relay recurring customer feedback and insights to internal teams such as tech, marketing, design, and product in order to constantly improve the customer experience

We're looking for professionals to join our team to help build DCYF, working toward the common goal of eliminating child and youth outcome disparities based on race and ethnicity. We are currently seeking proactive learners and resilient contributors to join our Children and Family Welfare Services (CFWS) office in King East (Bellevue) office Where you will perform advanced levels of specialized case management in the Child and Family Welfare Services unit. This position ensures timely permanency outcomes for all children on their caseload to include reunification, adoption, guardianship, and third party custody plans. As a CFWS you will engage in critical thinking through shared decision making and case planning and protect children from risk of harm whenever such risks are indicated. This position receives little supervision and the incumbent exercises independent judgment in devising own work methods to provide an advanced level of specialized, culturally competent and solution focused case management. Some of what you'll do as a Social Service Specialist: * Meet all casework management directives required by law, policy, and other mandates * Adhere to Solution-Based Casework (SBC) model * Assess delivery of services and permanency planning that is inclusive of immediate family, extended family, kin, and children (as appropriate) * Perform advanced level work in the investigation of child abuse and neglect allegations and specialized case management * Coordinate case assessment actions while utilizing solution based casework principles. * Investigate allegations, assess complex family situations, and develop plans to protect children either in their own homes or out of home care through the intervention of the court system * Prepare and file dependency petitions, guardianship petitions, and other legal documents * prepare and present testimony and statements at hearings * Focus on understanding and respecting the strengths of families including their heritage, cultural beliefs and values, communication and learning styles * Implement culturally-relevant, ADA-sensitive, and individualized service plans with clients * Develop strengths-based and client-involved service plans * Assess resource needs of children, birth parents, and caregivers and provide placement and placement stabilization supports * Work independently in devising your own work methods to provide an advanced level of specialized, culturally competent, and solution focused case management * Provide accurate and timely entries into FamLink * Coordinate and arrange placements for children in foster care. * Assess resource needs of children, birth parents, and caregivers and provide placement and placement stabilization supports. What we are looking for: Professionals who have one (1) year as a Social Service Specialist 2. OR A Bachelor's Degree in social services, human services, behavioral sciences or a related field and three years of paid social service experience. OR Master's Degree in social services, human services, behavioral sciences, or a related field and two (2) years of paid social service experience. NOTE: A two (2) year Master's degree in one of the above fields that included a practicum will be substituted for one (1) year of paid social service experience. NOTE: Employees must successfully complete the formal training course sponsored by their division within one (1) year of their appointment. One (1) year of paid social service experience must include assessing risk and safety to children and providing direct family-centered practice services (strengthening and preserving family units) Degrees must be obtained from an accredited institution.
