Job Summary:

Position Overview:

Are you passionate about improving patient outcomes and ensuring the highest quality of care? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Sleep Clinic Support Supervisor. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing the daily operations of our sleep clinic, providing direct patient care, and supervising and mentoring clinical support staff.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of assigned clinical areas within the sleep clinic.

  • Provide direct patient care as needed, including patient education and coordination of care.

  • Supervise and mentor clinical support staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver safe and effective patient care.

  • Make administrative decisions in the absence of the Manager and respond to complaints about patient care through established channels.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify areas for improvement to achieve desired patient outcomes.

  • Determine staffing levels and assignments based on service line requirements, ensuring adequate coverage to meet patient needs.

  • Float between staff to assist with problem-solving and take patient assignments to meet staffing needs.

Requirements:

  • Maine state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist is preferred.

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred upon hire.

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting is preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to make sound administrative decisions and problem-solve effectively.

  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and improving patient outcomes.
