Youth Behavioral Health Team (YBHT)
Hiring Range: $14.28 - $16.66/hr
Temporary (no benefits) - 2 positions available (Pos. #29889 & #30000)
Part-time (20 hours per week)
Summary of Work
Youth Behavioral Health Team (YBHT) are looking for case aides to work directly with the YBHT children for the purpose of behavior management assistance and role modeling and skills integration, designed to benefit a child with a serious emotional disturbance. YBHT case aides support the mission of providing therapeutic and supportive services to SED children in an effort to improve that child's overall ability to function in everyday life.
Provide case aide services to families who have children diagnosed with serious emotional disorders.
Work closely with YBHT - care coordinators and YBHT children's families in following a plan of care as developed by the Child and Family team.
Work closely with and, at times, act as the responsible supervising party for SED children and adolescents who may be hyperactive, out of control, non-compliant or a flight risk.
Provide transportation for YBHT children and adolescents as needed to attend activities or events that promote goals as identified in each child's behavioral plan.
Provide behavioral management assistance by helping the YBHT child or adolescent stabilize, reduce, or eliminate undesirable behaviors, including those that put them at risk of being placed in restrictive settings.
Provide skills integration to include role modeling and helping the YBHT child or adolescent learn and observe appropriate behavioral and emotional responses to situations that trigger the individual's emotional responses.
Travel to and from client's homes and within the community. Travel can may be required to all portions of Region IV.
Minimum Qualifications
APPLICANTS MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. POSITION REQUIRES A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE & BACKGROUND CHECK.
Requires a high school degree or GED, and one year of continuous full time employment with no lapse in service in a position directly related to work with special populations. Documentation will need to be obtained by employer verification prior to hire.
Requires ND driver's license and completion of defensive driving course
