Job Description:

Position Summary:

This 10 hr/week part-time position supports the Skills Institutes in the School of International Service. These weekend courses are aimed at providing graduate students in international affairs with in-demand skills. Responsibilities include:

• Faculty Support - the incumbent supports Skills Institute faculty during, and prior to, instruction of the course.

• Student Support - the incumbent supports students in Skills Institutes by troubleshooting technological issues and other access challenges.

• Program Assessment - complementing the AU-wide SETs, the incumbent surveys students and analyzes the data that these surveys produce.

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in working with events, professional communications, and/or research and evaluation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in international affairs or education. Experience working in higher education. Demonstrated interest in experiential education.

Additional Information:

• This position requires regular weekend (Sat, Sun) work.
