Where You'll Work:

Our Montgomery, AL plant is one of our unique vinegar production plants, that's been a staple of the local landscape since the 1930's! The employees here really take pride in what they do, producing 14 gallons of white distilled vinegar per year! Our Applied Health and Nutrition division is growing, and so is our close-knit team. This location is part of the local Teamsters 612 union.

Shift Information: This role requires a flexible work schedule. The schedule is a 6 week rotation and works as follows:

Week 1: 8:00AM-4:00PM, Monday-Friday

Week 2: 8:00AM-4:00PM, Monday-Friday

Week 3: 4:00PM - 12:00PM, Tuesday-Saturday

Week 4: 4:00PM - 12:00PM, Tuesday-Saturday

Week 5: 12:00AM - 8:00AM, Sunday-Thursday

Week 6: 12:00AM - 8:00AM, Sunday-Thursday

What You'll Do:

You will help transform individual ingredients to store-ready products as a production operator on our team. A highly physical role, you will continuously be on the move, lifting and pouring nutrient bags into large vats. You'll fill trucks, tanker trailers, and totes with all kinds of vinegar, making sure production never stops. We count on our operators to monitor production efficiency by taking production samples, making nutrient batches and taking physical inventories of the vinegar we product.

While you're on the job, you can expect:

  • To work with a small, highly collaborative team of 11 people, working together to accomplish production goals.

  • To lift and move up to 50-lb. bags of nutrients by hand as you help with nutrient batch mixes.

  • To walk almost 5 miles a day as you work on a variety of different tasks throughout the facility.

  • To operate both forklift and yard trucks for assisting with our shipping and receiving duties

  • To receive training on our manufacturing standards to ensure our team's safety, so everyone leaves as they come.

  • To utilize technology on the job as you input data into SAP.

What You'll Need to be Successful and Safe:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent or previous work experience with measuring and detailed documenting is preferred.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are needed to keep up with this fast-paced role.

  • Ability to drive a forklift, a small team requires a jack of all trades.

  • Ability to work independently at times, given the size of the team.

  • Reliable work attendance in your current/previous job, given you, will be part of a team counting on you daily.

  • Successfully passing a drug and background will be required to ensure the safety of our team.
