In this position you will be expected to complete a wide rage of tasks as directed by your foreman. Tasks include, but are not limited to: concrete placement, grouting, unloading and loading of materials, demolition work, jobsite cleanup, pumping water, traffic control, assist excavation work, as well as assist other trades such as carpenters, ironworkers, masons and cement finishers.
Know and work within OSHA guidelines, follow company safety policies.
Work with others as team. Be willing to learn and share the knowledge of the craft.
Demonstrate the ability to maintain and operate tools and equipment required for the tasks, including: personnel lifts, jackhammer, concrete saw, chipping hammers, sand tamps, skill saws, hammer drills and drills.
Perform tasks using methods and procedures based upon your skill level.
You are required to supply had tools necessary to perform your craft.
Physical demands and working conditions of the position:
Standing and walking for long periods
Climbing of stairs and ladders
Bending, kneeling and twisting
Lifting heavy loads on a frequent basis
Working inside and outside in all weather and temperature conditions
Dirty, dusty and occasionally muddy or slick conditions
Varying noise levels
Vibrations from tools, moving objects
Working in cramped quarters and high places
