Job Description
Summary
The Ski & Club Concierge is responsible for extending a high level of personalized service to all members and guests while visiting the AspenX Mountain Club Ski Locker Room & Club. The position will work both at the base of Aspen Mountain in the Ski Locker Room and at the top of Aspen Mountain in the Club.

Essential Job Functions
Build a warm and welcoming relationship with members and recognize members and their guests by name
Anticipate service needs & fulfill all reasonable member requests using discretion at all times concerning member activities and special requests
Coordinates requested ski passes, single day tickets, private ski lessons, gondola lift passes for members and ensure files are accurate and updated with each transaction
Coordinate member requests such as restaurant bookings, massages, transportations, cultural events, activities, spa/beauty appointments and local events
Develop relationships with restaurants, shops, clubs, barber and beauty salons, car rental agencies, health clubs, recreational vendors, ticketing office, etc. to help facilitate all member requests
Is aware of events schedule as well as community activities
Direct members to specific areas of skiing within the 4 mountains of Aspen Snowmass
Recommends hotel restaurant, bar and other services and is aware of hours of operation and assists members in securing reservations
Receives messages, packages, faxes etc. for members and arrange for appropriate delivery and arrange for appropriate deliveries or storage according to procedures
Coordinate & posts charges of ski tunes, race course fees and other fees to member accounts as required
Assists in mailing of letter and packages, process Federal Express and UPS for Members, handle fax transaction, copying, ski rental, shipping and lost baggage claims
Keep up to date record of each members guest visits and report to Club Manager when guest visitors have reached their maximum allowed
Use computer for assigned duties and email communications between the Membership Office and Management
Coordinate dining room requests such as special event bookings and dining room reservations with Club Manager or Restaurant Manager.
Assist with retail inventories and sales at the Club
Expedite Ski locker Room coffee service and housekeeping requests to appropriate departments
Store and retrieve ski equipment for members & follow morning checklist for shift working in the Ski Locker Room
Responsible for overseeing ski equipment when brought into boot lounge area of Ski Locker Room
Responsible for pick up/return of member rental skis and assist in packing skis, boots, poles or other equipment if needed and deliver to Membership Office for shipping
Intimate knowledge of local mountains and daily ski conditions
Keep all work areas neat and clean at all times and ensure refreshment areas are replenished and restocked for the next day
Assist with any problem that arise with ski equipment and maintain good communication with The Little Nell hotel Ski Concierge, Concierge, Front Door Staff departments and Aspen One
Make Club Manager & Membership Director aware of member comments or complaints
Complete tasks and projects delegated by Club Manager and assist other Club departments, particularly Sales & Marketing, as business volumes and staff levels demand.
Qualifications
Previous private club or hospitality experience in a 5-star property preferable
Excellent spoken English, bi-lingual helpful
Knowledge of skiing, ski equipment, Aspen and the surrounding areas
Typing and computer skills

Supervision Given and Received
Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Received: Works under direct supervision of the Club Manager. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Ability to stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time. Kneeling and bending may be required
Regularly work indoors with no adverse conditions. Some positions require exposure to outdoor elements or a combination of both indoors and outdoors and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
