Definition

The City of Davenport's Parks & Recreation Department is currently seeking dynamic individuals to fill the part-time Skate Guard positions for the River's Edge sports center.

PAID LEAVE: Accruals are earned based on the actual hours worked and are credited on the second pay check of each November.

Examples Of Duties

• Keep the flow of the skaters during Public Skate sessions moving in a safe and orderly fashion.

• Interacting with skaters and other customers to help them learn the ice skating basics so that they have an enjoyable experience.

• Performs additional custodial duties as assigned.

• Ability to work varied hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Must pass a background check and physical as prescribed by the City of Davenport.

Previous ice skating experience required.

Knowledge and Skills

Ability to provide excellent customer service.
