NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Sitefinity Developer & Support Advisor - Relocation Available to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

We are able to consider H1B candidates and relocation to Plano, TX from within the US for this role.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Supports existing application to cover incident management, request management, problem management and release management

  • Follow ITIL processes for incidents, changes and requests.

  • Response to the incidents & requests within the SLA period

  • Code, tests and documents Sitefinity based systems of moderate to high complexity as per the requirements specifications

  • Involved with resolution of low complexity software development issues that may arise in a production environment

  • Works under general direction, seeks assistance as needed. Independently gathers information

  • Perform in-depth problem solving, troubleshooting, and conduct root cause analysis of problems and issues impacting the applications and/or their environment.

  • Manage and utilize monitoring tools and alerts to prevent production down time.

  • Collaborate with development team, infrastructure teams, third parties and other technical teams as necessary in the configuration and support of the applications and their environment, as well as to identify and resolve complex problems and issues.

  • Provide performance improvement and capacity planning recommendations.

  • Participates in on-call support rotation. Contributes to own team/closely related teams through quality and accuracy of own output. Builds productive internal relationships. Conveys information in a concise and professional manner. Asks effective questions and solicits feedback to understand needs

Basic Required Skills:

  • 6+ years advanced experience on web application development or support using Microsoft technology stacks MVC.Net, C#, jQuery, CSS and T-SQL
  • 2 years of experience with Web Content Management product Sitefinity.
  • 2 years of experience of building widgets, modules, even handlers in Sitefinity using MVC, Feather & Thunder

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree, or equivalent

  • Knowledge of digital marketing concepts like SEO, Google Analytics, AB Testing, Personalization, Marketo forms.

  • A strong knowledge on UX is an advantage (iQuery, CSS, HTML 5, KendoUI and Bootstrap)

  • Some experience with responsive design and should have built some responsive sites using KendoUI & Bootstrap

  • Good understanding of IIS webserver configuration and web site setup with troubleshooting experience

Build Management using TFS, BitBucket or any similar configuration management tool

For more information, visit Working as part of the Customer Support team, and reporting to a local Team Leader, this role is the key interface between Finastra clients on one side and R&D organization on the other side, contributing to the overall delivery of software and services to ensure a world class customer experience. The holder of the role is a functional specialist with relevant experience in the capital markets/financial software field, responsible for handling and resolving the raised issues in the shortest time possible. For software related issues, he/she is responsible for replicating client issues through regression scenarios and providing his/her analysis to Product Center for resolution, while suggesting a workaround to the client in the interim. If not deemed a software bug, then the holder suggests a solution to the client to resolve their issue. At times, he/she may be called upon to do testing on beta deliveries or fixes.
