Praxair Surface Technologies (PST), a subsidiary of Praxair, Inc., a Fortune 300 company that supplies atmospheric, process, specialty gases, high-performance coatings, and related services & technologies is seeking a Site Training Coordinator in our plant located in Ellisville, MS.

The Site Training Coordinator will oversee the design, development, and coordination of training, and run both large and small-scale programs for our entire organization. Our ideal candidate will be both exceptionally knowledgeable, approachable, and confident in front of all groups of people. The right candidate will be a self-starting professional who can jump in with both feet and take over the training schedule and curriculum with minimal direction. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design and develop interactive training programs (outsourced or in-house) for corporate, employee training, compliance training, etc.;

  • Select the best training methods or activities for a particular purpose and audience (e.g. role playing, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes, etc.);

  • Market training opportunities to employees in an engaging and compelling way that provides all necessary information and entices participation;

  • See the big picture and conduct whole-organization needs assessments, identifying skills or knowledge gaps that need addressing;

  • Establish and maintain relationships with external training sources (JCJC, ITR, MSU, etc.);

  • Uphold best practices and corporate education principles for training;

  • Track new training methods and techniques;

  • Design and prepare educational aids and materials as needed;

  • Measure instructional effectiveness and generate summative evaluation reports with the goal of defining the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs;

  • Connect with internal stakeholders and liaise with subject matter experts (SME) regarding instruction and scheduling; and

  • Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions for internal training coordinators by process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in training, HR, education or related field.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Exceptional organizational skills including the ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize work.

  • Significant work experience as a trainer, training facilitator, or organizing multiple training events, preferably in a corporate environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of instructional design theory as well as proof of successful implementation.

  • Strong knowledge of learning management systems.

  • Proven track record, showing ability to successfully complete the full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).

  • Knowledgeable about both traditional and modern job training methods and techniques.

  • Certification such as ASTD (American Society for Training and Development) is preferred.

  • Working extended hours and/or weekends and holidays may be required.

PST is a supplier which abides by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As such, persons considered for this position must be either a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder) or otherwise classifiable as a U.S. person under relevant ITAR regulations.

The QMS Coordinator works in close collaboration across multiple departments to manage controlled documents from document creation and approval to archival. This includes all elements of the document lifecycle: creation, distribution, revision, review cycle, implementation, and filing to include periodic review cycles per applicable Quality System Procedures. This person will work effectively under minimal supervision and provide technical support for developing and supporting the Document Management System (WebCenter). This position will also support our business users, participate in all relevant change management activities, and overall service delivery and customer satisfaction. Job responsibilities include: * Ensure all documents are properly controlled in compliance with PST and/or PGT procedures and regulatory requirements; * Lead the implementation of the electronic Document Management System (WebCenter) by writing and implementing processes/procedures for document management, record retention, and document change control; * Develop intelligence product templates promoting uniformity of fonts, formats, icons, images, layouts, and naming conventions for all documents in the Document Management System; * Write and/or edit procedures (SOP), work instructions (JI), or policies to ensure compliance with current Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory requirements; * Maintain, update, and archive company documents and records in accordance with company procedures; coordinate the preparation, approval, and implementation of these documents as well as archiving and retrieving as required; * Assist with ensuring consistent document handling and ensure timely completion of change control requests by coordinating document management and document change control activities; * Prepare controlled documents through the change control process including editing, proofreading, tracking, copying, distributing, scanning, and filing; * Ensure redlines and documentation meet all requirements per PGT document change control procedures; * Provide training and support to the organization in proper use of document related software to ensure proper document formatting and consistency in documentation throughout the organization; * Audit the electronic document management system in accordance to requirements and schedule; * Monitor the scanning of Work Orders, Material Test Reports, Certificates of Compliance and other associated documentation for traceability; * Assist the Plant Quality Manager (PQM) in the preparation of periodic and special reports which require the use of spreadsheet, database, and presentation graphics software. * Provide daily technical support in data collection, analysis, and synthesis with a focus on transforming, ingesting, and integrating local information or repositories into Spotfire, Tableau, and SharePoint; and * Participate in a work environment that fosters learning, respect, open communication, collaboration, integration, and teamwork. * Other Duties Assigned Access to export controlled technology/technical data and/or items required to perform this Position are subject to the laws of the United States (including but not limited to the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR"), 15 C.F.R.
