Coeur Mining, Inc. is a well-diversified growing precious metals producer with five operations in North America. Coeur's wholly-owned operations include the Palmarejo silver-gold complex in Mexico, the Silvertip silver-zinc-lead mine in British Columbia, the Rochester silver-gold mine in Nevada, the Kensington gold mine in Alaska, and the Wharf gold mine in South Dakota. In addition, the Company owns the La Preciosa project in Mexico, a silver-gold exploration stage project.

The Coeur Silvertip mine located in British Columbia, just 10 miles south of the Yukon border is seeking a Site Training Coordinator to work in a camp-based environment rotating on 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off schedule.

The Site Training Coordinator will be responsible for the operational training program development, implementation, and management. The position will report directly to the Manager, Health & Safety.

Job Duties:

  • Operational Training Program Development, implementation and management;

  • Developing a detailed Operational Training Needs Analysis for the entirety of the operation;

  • Overseeing the selection, placement, training and mentoring of training coordinators within the operation;

  • Development and management of a detailed employee training database;

  • Ensuring Silvertip Operations meets or exceeds all regulatory and company operational training related requirements;

  • Maintain knowledge of company training and safety related policies and procedures affecting our operation;

  • Develop and set high standards, lead by example and promote a strong safety culture, and positive attitude with all operational personnel;

  • Ensure self performance and activities follow all company policies, procedures and Regulatory Codes and Standards;

  • Work closely with and assist the mine site Health and Safety department with integrating training related standards procedures into safety related programs;

  • Maintain good working knowledge of and experience in operating all types of mechanized underground equipment.

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all safety policies and procedures and site rules pertaining to a Northern BC underground mining and ore processing operation;

  • Work with Health and Safety personnel to ensure compliance by all management, supervisors, and employees with British Columbia regulatory requirements as they relate to the safe and healthy operation of the mine site;

  • Develop health and safety programs and assist supervisors in implementation of same;

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of five (5) years' hands on hard rock mining experience (Conventional & Mechanized);

  • Solid knowledge of mining systems and processes;

  • Previous mine training experience including the development and implementation of training programs;

  • Strong computer skills in the use of Microsoft Office Suite. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);

  • Solid knowledge of governmental regulations as they relate to health, safety & training in a mining environment;

  • Previous Supervisory and mine rescue experience would be an asset;

  • Valid driver's license;

  • Physically fit to perform the duties of the position.

JOB SUMMARY Cresco Labs is seeking a Document and Training Coordinator to join our corporate operations team at our Chicago headquarters. As our Document and Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in creation and maintenance of operating procedures and document management and training infrastructure. The ideal candidate must possess a strong attention to detail and experience working within a highly regulated industry. CORE JOB DUTIES: * Exciting project to build Quality Management System (QMS) and training infrastructure for a medical cannabis start-up company * Manage document request email inbox, triaging documents, assigning documents to change control managers, and document writers, and communicating due dates and priority. * Manage document repository, ensuring proper naming conventions, ease of locating documents, and version control * Prepare document change request packages for review, including summarizing changes, reason for changes, and rationale. Project manage document package routing and approval process and communicate status updates. * Maintain employee training matrices to ensure that all changes to job titles are reflected in training matrices in a timely manner. * Notify stakeholders of revisions to procedures that have been approved for training, assign training tasks to required trainees in Learning Management System (LMS), monitor completion of training assignments in Learning Management System (LMS) and notify stakeholders of effective dates upon completion of training. * Track on-time completion of due dates and communicate with trainees/managers, as needed * Inventory and catalog SOPs, work instructions, manufacturing formulas, user manuals, and other documentation in Document Management System (DMS). * Maintain periodic review timeframes in Document Management System (DMS), notify process owners of upcoming periodic review due dates, coordinate closure of periodic reviews and initiation of document change requests. * Maintain Document Management System (DMS) and Change Management System (CMS) content. * Prepare and report system metrics related to document change requests and training program, including providing training completion reports to regulatory agencies * Unique opportunity to interface with all functions within the company: cultivation, laboratory, kitchen, operations, manufacturing, safety, IT, retail dispensary operations. * Work cross functionally among projects and departments as needs arise. * As requested, assist with document writing, updating and/or creating new company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, training materials, manufacturing formulas/recipes, job aids, equipment manuals, IT system user manuals, etc. that will have a lasting impact on company's future success and growth. Document content consists of compliance requirements, best practices, and procedural instructions for a wide variety of production operations activities including: cultivation, manufacturing, laboratory techniques, culinary recipe formulations, packaging, inventory management, logistics, equipment usage, etc. * Use document templates to standardize policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions and other document formats. Assign document IDs and storage of controlled documents in Document Management System (DMS).
