All about the role:

Your main duty as Site Systems Administrator - Level I - will be end-user support, including installation, troubleshooting, hardware break/fix, phone support, and account management. You will also assist in the maintenance of the company's network and server systems and will have the opportunity to expand your experience with complex IT systems, such as advanced networking equipment, telephony equipment, Windows server systems, etc.

You will perform system backups and data recovery; assist in resolution of network communication problems and utilize Service Now to accept and resolve problem tickets and coordinate additional support activities.

You will assist with tracking hardware and software utilizing asset management procedures, always participate in desktop related projects as assigned by management and commit to thorough documentation and knowledge sharing.

What you'll do:

• Install, configure and deploy software for PC's, laptops, printers and peripheral equipment.

• Implement desktop hardware and software standards

• Provide 2nd level technical support for local office and supported remote users.

• Manage user account requests and ensure tasks are completed before releasing account to user.

• Provide cell phone support including management of external repairs as needed.

• Provide hands-on support for Kronos timeclocks located at the factory and satellite warehouses.

• Provide support for hand-held and truck mount scanners used in material movements through-out the plant/facility.

Qualifications required:

• Associate degree in IT, engineering or related technical field is preferred.

• 2-3 years technical support experience for end user or network computing with hands on experience supporting desktop PC in a Windows7 / Windows10 environment.

• 2-3 years of configuring PC's, installing network cards, memory, etc.

• 2-3 years' experience installing and configuring software.

• Excellent customer service skills to work effectively with clients and vendors.

• Holding A+, Network + or Cisco certifications would be considered a plus.

The position (fully on-site) will be based at our Distribution Center facility in Fletcher, NC.
