Site Supply Specialist

As the Site Supply Specialist, you will have responsibility for a variety of purchased parts, to include coordination with the Planning and Purchasing organizations which are located throughout the world to ensure obstacles are removed and a steady flow of materials into the site is maintained. You will ensure near-term issues are resolved and will take appropriate actions identified during key meetings to fix emergency part shortages and supply issues, through established processes. You are the link between Sourcing, Planning, Purchasing, and Operations, and will aid in the identification of repeat part issues/shortages to drive key improvements to prevent recurrence. This position is critical to the success of the integrated supply chain at Honeywell.
Manage the strategy of supplier classification: AVL/ASL (site-based)
Coordinate to ensure that potential problems are identified and resolved
Provide team and/or leadership with daily status on part shortage issues/ resolutions
Work with expeditors, schedulers, and Global Planning Network to overcome near-term part constraints
Manage line down buyer coordination (supplier shortages)
Manage site-based supplier recovery
Resolve receiving discrepancy issues
Place and manage PO's for emergency and gap-buys
Escalate Customer-specific OTTR miss issues
Work with Global Sourcing and Planning organizations to react and ensure delivery commitments are met
Work as support role for Repair and Overhaul to expedite delivery on parts that are late
Provide data and analysis for poorly performing parts/suppliers and act as a supporting role in defining the solution
Please note: this position will support the sites transition in Renton, WA and then will have an opportunity to relocate to Kansas City (Olathe), KS in Q1 2020.

YOU MUST HAVE
2+ years Materials Planning and Scheduling
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Experience in SAP system
Highly motivated and able to work in fast-paced environment
Experience in managing several projects in a dynamic site environment
