Know the General Orders, Special Orders, Do Not Admits, and VIPs.
Report directly to the Project Manager.
Report any problem with FDIC employees to the OM or TM, and Project Manager.
Review daily electronic Operations Log and other e-mail messages on a daily basis and take appropriate action.
Provide Shift Supervisors with information for dissemination at Guard Mount at appropriate FDIC Headquarters location.
Ensure that the correct "Alert" signs are posted in each lobby at appropriate FDIC Headquarters Location.
Ensure that the flag is flying properly for the day at appropriate FDIC Headquarters Location.
Inform FDIC Security and Project Manager of necessary changes to Post Orders, General Orders and Special Orders.
Coordinate and review duty schedules prepared by Shift Supervisors at appropriate FDIC Headquarters Location.
Counsel security personnel.
Ensure that all new Security Officers required paperwork is complete and filed.
Ensure that all new Security Officers receive required OJT.
Ensure that Security Officers receive all required training.
Conduct inspections of all Posts on each shift at appropriate FDIC Headquarters Location.
Conduct inspections on key control.
Ensure that security personnel adhere to the Lost & Found procedures.
Attend and monitor Guard Mount to ensure that the Shift Supervisor is conducting properly at appropriate FDIC Headquarters Location.
Manage emergency situations and keep FDIC Security and Project Manager informed.
Ensure that there is accountability and maintenance of all security equipment (e.g., weapons, radios, Post equipment, etc.).
Ensure that all weapons are cleaned on the first of each month.
Ensure that employee personnel files are secured and allow only authorized access.
You are a U.S. Citizen (Birth or Naturalized) or a lawful permanent resident and current or honorably discharged member of the U.S. Armed Services/Military;
At least 21 years of age;
Minimum of four (4) years of successful experience in field supervision (civilian community law enforcement, military law enforcement/security, or commercial/industrial guard service), and must satisfy all Guard II Armed Security Officer qualification requirements
Read, speak and understand English language fluently;
Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms;
Familiar with computers and keyboard operations.
Successfully pass an employment physical;
Successfully pass background checks to include criminal, credit, and/or driving record;
Successfully pass all training and obtain required certifications to include CPR, First Aid, and AED;
Must be able to obtain and maintain a required Armed DC SPO license;
Must meet client suitability.
