THE ROLE: As a valued member of the Site Services team, the Warehouse Receiver Technician will receive, monitor, maintain and record parts inventory daily to include staging company products and pieces for pick up.

This position is located in Kent, Washington and reports to the Field Services Manager.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive part shipments daily.

  • Check parts for accuracy (quality, color, handing, size, damage to the part or package of delivery).

  • Provide inventory control by monitoring, keep organized and safely stored per 5-S layout.

  • Identify missing or back ordered parts, document and notify scheduling department of incomplete orders.

  • Identify and report reoccurring problems (i.e. product defects, process issues).

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our Field Service Technicians and Providers by having parts ready for pick-up.

  • Assist the Field Service Technicians and Providers by loading parts and materials.

  • Operate a handheld communication device (tablet, mobile phone)

  • Adhere to all JW Safety Policies and Procedures


  • Must be reliable, ethical, and willing to accomplish goals

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (instructions to be removed: list required and desired attributes such as, self-motivated, ability to analyze data, relationship-building, customer-focused approach, communication, etc.)

  • Carpentry skills (use of tools and measuring devices)

  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills

  • Experience working with Excel spreadsheets and Outlook.

  • Ability to operate a service vehicle

  • Always maintain a professional appearance and attitude with internal and external customers

  • Ability to interpret information provided on handheld communication devices

  • Ability to operate a tablet and/or mobile phone in daily activities (i.e. reporting, contacting service center or customers, etc.)

  • Ability to walk, stand, squat, reach, and twist

  • Ability to work in a team, if required

  • Ability to work flexible hours and independently with minimal supervision, as needed

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Education and Experience (instructions to be removed: list required and desired education, relevant work experience, system or application experience, managerial experience, and accreditations or certifications)

  • High School diploma, GED or vocational training/certification
  • 2-5 years' field service technician experience (experience in the same or similar industry is a plus)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract required
