Position Overview: The role of a Site Security Officer is instrumental in safeguarding the organization's interests by proactively ensuring compliance with security protocols, and fostering a culture of vigilance and preparedness.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing security policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations such as NIST SP 800-171, ITAR, and NOFORN.

• Manage access control systems, including monitoring access points, issuing badges, and conducting periodic security checks.

• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify security vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

• Oversee surveillance systems to monitor the premises for suspicious activity and potential security breaches.

• Assist in developing and maintaining emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and crisis communication protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field. Military training or equivalent experience is highly desirable.

• Preferred certifications include Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or other relevant security certifications.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Previous military engagement is a plus.

• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171, ITAR, and NOFORN regulations is required.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

• Proficiency in security systems and technologies, including access control systems, surveillance systems, and incident response tools.

• High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting sensitive information.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Site Security
• 5-7 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Advanced Excel required.

• Advanced Access skills preferred.

• Understanding of DFAR clauses for government contractors.

• Understanding of NIST SP 800-171

• Good written, verbal communication, and collaborative skills

Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00/hr (Depending on experience)

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Must be flexible to work OT if needed)
