Job Description

As a Site Safety Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe working environment by identifying safety, health, and environmental risks within the facility. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing inspection policies and procedures, creating health and safety procedures for all company areas, and conducting routine inspections according to a set schedule. You will also be responsible for monitoring compliance with safety procedures, drafting inspection reports, maintaining material safety data sheets, and keeping records related to hazardous waste and pollutants. Additionally, you will coordinate and implement EH&S-related activities and perform other related duties as assigned.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chatsworth, California.

Work Environment

You will be working in a manufacturing setting, interacting with facilities, construction, and maintenance teams. The culture is family-oriented with a close-knit team, emphasizing getting to know each team member. You will manage a team of 5, including 2 Mechanics, Facilities, Utility, and Janitorial staff. Professional dress code is required. Work hours start at 6:45 am, with flexibility to start earlier.
