Asa member of Site Reliability Engineering team you will dive head-first intocreating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You'll joinan inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving thedesign, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programmingthat goes into creating high quality software and new products. You'll betasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on theprogress of what's being developed. Coming in with an understanding of theimportance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key.And best of all, you'll be working with and sharing ideas, information andinnovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.
This rolerequires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Advancedknowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understandingof architecture and design across all systems
Workingproficiency in developmental toolsets and
Ability tocollaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firmto accomplish common goals
Proficiencyin one or more general purpose programming languages: C, C++, Java J2EEtechnology stack and web technologies, Python, Go, Perl, Ruby or shellscripting (Unix/Linux)
Understandingof software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance andsoftware improvement
Hand-onexperience with cloud-based applications, technologies and tools,deployment, monitoring and operations, such as Kubernetes, Prometheus,FluentD, Slack, Splunk, Dynatrace, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Kibana,Microservices, Restful Web Services, etc.
Relationaland NoSQL databases; developing and managing operations leveraging keyevent streaming, messaging and DB services such as Cassandra, MQ / JMS / Kafka, Aurora, RDS, Cloud SQL, BigTable, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cloud Spanner,Kinesis, Cloud Pub/Sub, etc.
Automationtools experience such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Fabric, and repositories like GIT. Developing monitoringtools and log analysis tools to manage operations
HighAvailability, Disaster Recovery, Sustained Resiliency, Chaos Engineering
Merchantservices experience such as payments / transaction processing preferred
