To provide medical support at the client site 24/7, 14 days on/28 days off. Maintain constant vigilance on health risks and inform the site Doctor. Provide medical support to all field employees, whether clients or contractors. Ensure the quality of health services in accordance with client Health Standards .Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Site Doctor in all medical-related matters.
2. Ensure that medical treatments prescribed by the Site Doctor for all employees, clients, contractors, and visitors are carried out effectively.
3. Assist in road and air medical evacuations as an accompanying paramedic, if requested by the Field Medical Supervisor, using the site's ambulance or helicopter.
4. Provide support to other site doctors upon request in case of a medical emergency, as decided by the Field Medical Supervisor.
5. Perform regular checks of all First Aid Boxes at the camp and operational sites.
6. Support regular checks of medical equipment in the field clinic and ambulance. Assist in maintaining stock levels of pharmaceutical products and disposables in the field clinic, emergency kits for doctors, ambulances, first aid boxes, and mass casualty boxes.
7. Conduct Health & Hygiene inspections of the camp and other company-mandated camps on a weekly basis under the supervision of the Field Doctor.
8. Maintain constant vigilance on camp hygiene and notify the Field Doctor of any abnormal findings.
9. Ensure the cleanliness of the field clinic, medical equipment, and integrity of all furniture.
10. Comply with medical waste disposal procedures.
11. Report daily activities and any incidents to the Field Doctor.
12. Collaborate with the Field Doctor to plan preventive actions; manage changes in healthcare delivery systems during work restructuring or technological innovations.Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- Degree in Emergency Medicine or equivalent qualification as an Emergency Technician or Anaesthetist.Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.Professional Experience:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in emergency medicine, with documented activity during off time.Soft Skills:
- Strong facilitator
- High stress tolerance
- Good team playerLanguages:
- Proficiency in English, French, and Arabic.Location:
