Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Merchandising Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on executing site merchandising strategies with an emphasis on maintaining content accuracy and consistency across our website. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce and be adept at collaborating across various teams to support merchandising projects, promotional campaigns, and roadmap initiatives.

Site Merchandising Key Responsibilities (80%)

Product Setup & Content Administration:

  • Responsible for maintaining and updating website content, including product descriptions, pricing, images, attribution tagging and other related content onto the website ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product merchandising, creative and web development teams to ensure alignment on merchandising strategies, promotional campaigns, and website updates, fostering a collaborative and cohesive approach to site merchandising.

On-Site Search Optimization:

  • Collaborate with web merch and product merchandising teams to create and manage on-site search rules, ensuring that search results are relevant and optimized for the best possible customer experience.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Support in gathering and analyzing data related to site performance, including sales, traffic, and customer behavior, to help identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Project Management Key Responsibilities (20%)

Support Launch Deliverables:

  • Track and coordinate launch progress.

  • Gather information and materials for product launches with cross-functional teams.

Project Tracking:

  • Update project tasks and timelines in Basecamp.

  • Monitor progress and provide updates, addressing roadblocks.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain project documentation, including notes and plans.

  • Prepare and share reports on project progress and issues.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Act as a contact point for project inquiries.

  • Coordinate meetings and discussions to align team efforts.

Professional Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience in site merchandising, e-commerce, or related role.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager, Page Designer or other CMS and e-commerce platforms.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Preferred:

  • Proven project management skills with experience in leading and coordinating projects.

  • Previous experience in merchandising within the retail industry.

  • Experience with on-site search optimization techniques.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
