The Taxonomy & Attribution Merchandising Manager is responsible for achieving customer satisfaction by leading and setting team goals for executing, analyzing and auditing content on the web site. Their primary objective is manage and work with their teams to improve the foundation of the website's taxonomy, attribution, and product data to optimize the customer's discovery and selection of products. The Taxonomy & Attribution Merchandise Manager will be responsible to work with their teams to develop and execute site merchandising best practices, and ensure that strategies are rolled out. They will work with their teams on presentations, discussions with internal and external partners, and career growth.
The Merchandise Manager when needed, will assist to onboard product, perform site maintenance, optimize search, maximize vendor assets, and use analytics to drive sales and conversion. This will be done by utilizing strategy, data analytics, and experimentation tools. This person needs to be highly analytical, organized, and possess great communication and presentation skills. Cross functional partners will include merchants, vendors, SEO, SEM, UX, Business Intelligence, and Marketing teams. Perform other duties as assigned.
Site analysis and audit: Alignment of data across all customer touch points and devices, Establish best practices across competitive landscape; Facet and browse optimization, Attribution quick wins
Taxonomy Optimization: Manage Header Fly out, Left Hand Navigation; work with SEO and UX team to develop best practices
Product Detail Page Optimization, Size & Fit Information, Attribution, Page layout, Images
Management of team skill and career guidance, develop presentations and communication, strategic thinking
On Site Search Optimize and establish best practices, Execute merch approvals as needed.
Partner and present with internal and external teams on set up and execution of strategies
Consistently demonstrate regular, dependable attendance & punctuality.
BA/BS degree and/or 5 years online merchandising experience.
Experience managing direct reports preferred.
This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking.
May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time.
Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
May involve moving or lifting items under 10 pounds.
Must be able to work effectively on a team and with various parts of the organization, and have a sense of urgency to react to business needs.
Must be self-motivated.
Participates in the decision-making process; provides recommendations on site strategy.
