Savage Services is currently hiring Site Managers to manage internal and external resources as necessary to design, procure, and construct Industrial Capital Projects on-time and on-budget that meet commercial, operational, and customer objectives.

This is a project-based position with the duration typically lasting for 14-16 months.

Responsibilities / Job Duties:

  • Deliver projects on-time and on-budget

  • Participate in project and business development - conceptual designs, cost estimates, strategy, etc.

  • Lead internal and external engineering, procurement, and construction resources

  • Ensure designs meet applicable building codes, safety, operational, and commercial objectives

  • Manage resources necessary to obtain all applicable permits.

  • Develop project schedules and milestones.

  • Track, manage, and report project costs and progress

  • Provide technical support for internal operations

  • Identify and prioritize critical tasks

  • Adjust and adapt to shifting priorities

  • Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions

  • Control project costs by approving expenditures; reviewing bids from contractors

  • Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems

  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations

  • Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Preference will be given to candidates who are based in either Cheyenne, WY or Wynnewood, OK

  • Experienced in the development of capital budgets, schedules, and work breakdown structures

  • Work effectively in team and independent environments

  • Strong problem solving, communication and negotiating experience

  • Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences

  • Customer-centered philosophy and approach with a sense of urgency for customer needs.

  • Must be drug free and able to pass a criminal background check

  • Willingness to participate in an employee based safety program and contribute to a rich safety culture

Education/Experience:

  • BS/BA Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent work experience required

  • Minimum 20+ years of significant project management experience ($20M +)

  • Familiarity with processes and operational practices of heavy industries such as rail, transportation, power, mining, refineries, mineral processing, etc.

  • Experience in the development of capital budgets, schedules, and work breakdown structures

DISH Wireless is seeking a Site Development Manager for our 5G wireless network deployment program in Salt Lake City. The Site Development Manager will be responsible for coordinating telecommunications site acquisition and leasing activities on behalf of DISH. Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories: * Oversee market real estate acquisition operations, ensure that assignment and scheduling of work follows timeline, evaluate current procedures and recommend changes to improve efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects * Extensive cross-functional coordination between local RF Engineering, Construction, Transport, and Legal to achieve business objectives * Active involvement in site selection, coordination with landowners during lease negotiation process to obtain agreements to install telecom equipment * Ensure completion of leasing packages and other documentation as required * Responsible for daily tracking, monitoring and reporting * Provides candidate-specific recommendations for leasing and land use viability * Reviews title reports for ownership, encumbrances, easements, etc, and provides recommendation for leasing viability * Reviews drawings for compliance with jurisdictional, regulatory and landlord requirements * Represent company through regulatory process, including attending meetings with jurisdictions as necessary The successful Site Development Manager will have: * BA/BS degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience * 5 - 10+ years of wireless industry experience required * Previous experience with successful management of macro site builds in a greenfield environment preferred * Demonstrated expertise in zoning and permitting * Proven experience with people management, with direct and indirect influence * Previous experience managing vendor relationships Dish Network Corporation Salt Lake City UT
