POSITION PROFILE
Supervises day-to day operations and staff of MS sites. 80% of time should be spent in managing duties, no more than 20% in operating production equipment. Develops, implements and reviews related procedures. Invoices accounts and interacts with customer; assists in maintaining acceptable profit levels and ensures that customer expectations are met. High degree of customer interface. Responsible for 3 - 6 employees or up to $50K in services revenue per month at a single site.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Routinely demonstrates and creates a helpful and positive work culture.
* Encourages and builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with all co-workers and outside vendors.
* Conducts themselves at all times as the public image of the company in accordance with RICOH's code of ethics.
* Effective implementation of RICOH Service Excellence. Effective implementation and management of RICOH Service Excellence.
* Achieves shift profitability in the area of cost of goods by effectively supervising the shift in the use of company materials and supplies.
* Manages total production labor percentages by achieving percentage of production worker labor and quality control labor established by the company.
* Meets quality and deadline standards by the effective use of job scheduling practices.
* Handles formal contact with the customer on a daily basis in MS and as needed in BDS/LDS.
* Provides training on work flow and machine operations when necessary.
* Ensures the quality of operations for shift by assisting in the achievement of goals in Audit and Deadline compliance.
* Increases employee retention by achieving turnover and average tenure goals.
* Maintains efficient workflow by holding direct reports accountable for quality and efficiency of their work.
* Ensures that location is properly staffed by matching employee skills and equipment with production demands.
* Facilities resolution of issues concerning pricing, orders-in and invoicing by interacting and communicating with sales department.
* Motivates employees and recognizes their accomplishments in a timely manner.
* Clearly communicates job expectations/consequences of employees by training, cross-training, coaching, counseling, directing, evaluating the work of subordinates to increase their work output and work quality.
* Completes site reports and other paperwork as necessary.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
Typically Required:
* High school or GED is required.
* 3+ years experience in a related field is required.
* Experience in delivering classroom and/or informal training sessions are required.
* Experience in operation of the most advanced machines, performing complex jobs, is required.

SUMMARY We are looking for a skilled, innovative Site Communications Manager as we grow our internal communications capabilities, a key focus for the Novato site. You will be at the center of designing the future of internal communications for our site of 600 people. You are passionate about connecting people to our shared sense of purpose in our work and you will build strategies and programs to keep our employees informed and engaged about our objectives, priorities, and progress. Your curiosity and creativity will bring to life the cutting-edge work that our site performs. RESPONSIBILITIES * Work with the site leadership team to craft organizational messages and to keep employees informed of progress and developments with compelling, engaging communications. * Define and execute an effective internal communications strategy for the site. * Lead a cross-functional communications team comprised of representatives from all major functions within Novato operations. * Ensure that key initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders across communication modes. * Plan, lay out, and write or edit content for a variety of internal communications modes such as TV monitors, email, webpages, social media, all hands meetings, etc. * Ensure site communications messages are consistent across modes, across the organization, and with corporate messages. * Improve upon existing communication channels and practices. * Define measures to assess the effectiveness of communications, work with the team to apply key learnings and continuously improve future efforts. * Work with other internal communications leaders at the Technical Operations and corporate levels to ensure alignment and consistency. EXPERIENCE Required Skills * 6+ years' experience in communications, internal communications, or marketing. * Highly creative and able to generate energy and excitement. * Superior communication skills across levels from senior management to middle management to line staff. Able to simplify complex topics to their essence and adapt to the audience. * Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills as well as the ability to draw stories from employees. * Demonstrated ability to partner with other functional groups to achieve business objectives. * Proven track record of effectively leading cross-functional teams. * Skilled in leading people through business changes. * Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and create clear communications. * Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Skills * Proven experience at both strategic and tactical levels: developing business strategies, building action plans, and executing the strategy. * 3+ years' project and/or program management experience. * Experience in high tech or other innovative, disruptive environment is a plus. * Proficient with web/intranet applications. EDUCATION Required Education * Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or Human Relations or related field.
