ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain staffing levels needed to meet production/non production schedules

  • Plan and execute operator training strategies to ensure coverage of assigned operations

  • Monitor production requirements to ensure priorities are communicated and addressed

  • Identify and drive resolution of problems that could impact output or quality

  • Monitor tool performance as needed and react to out-of-control situations

  • Work with PE, Tool Owners and/or Maintenance teams to address tooling/process issues

  • Ensure employees are hired, promoted and compensated consistent with company policies

  • Track employee performance to ensure expectations are being met

  • Provide timely coaching to develop and enhance the performance of your direct reports

  • Conduct periodic performance reviews and ensure assessments are fair, consistent

  • Address performance problems in a timely fashion and take appropriate action(s)

  • Ensure the consistent application of appropriate disciplinary actions, when warranted

  • Provide coaching/direction to lower level managers, supervisors or technicians

  • Help promote and implement "Lean" manufacturing concepts; champion Kaizen events

REQUIRED:

  • Prior supervisory/management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of wafer manufacturing processes and associated tooling

  • Familiarity with MESA, SPC, QMF and similar applications/systems used to monitor parts flow and tool performance.

  • Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint and Word (Intermediate level, minimum)

  • Familiarity with production reports used to assign work, prioritize wip and track output

  • Education in a technical field preferred, but not required

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

VIEW JOBS 3/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-13T00:00 Site Supervisor- Gardner Elementary (San Jose) As a Site Supervisor you will manage all aspects of a single Think Together educational site to ensure that the program meets educational and recreational objectives and is managed in accordance with policies and procedures including safe work practices. Supervises all staff and volunteers assigned to the site to provide well-coordinated student assistance. Meets all documentations requirements. Liaises with parents, collaborators, school management, donors and visitors to display the site and the program positively. * Supervises all staff, students and volunteers in the program at the site. * Manages site staff under the direct supervision of the Quality Assurance Coordinator * Interviews, recommends hiring and evaluates classroom supervisors and other part-time team members. * Manages the site budget including staffing, supplies and fundraising. * Maintains comprehensive student and volunteer records and product reports as required. * Designs a site program schedule together with the Think Together administrative team such that students have access to snack time, homework help and a variety of recreational, educational and enrichment activities. * Works with collaborative partners (if applicable) to implement programs. * Works with other providers to develop on- and off-site enrichment opportunities. * Communicates with school administrators, school staff and parents on a regular basis regarding program activities. * Works with Fund Development department to coordinate site visits for volunteers, community leaders, school administrators and funders. * Assists with volunteer orientations and works with the Volunteer Department to recruit new volunteers. * Nurtures and builds strong relationships with volunteers to develop good communication for accountability and long-term commitment to volunteering. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or 1 year of program experience within Think Together in lieu of Bachelor's degree is required * At least one year in a supervisory or leadership position is highly preferred. * Previous classroom experience is required. * Must meet the minimum qualifications set by the partner district for a classroom instructional aide. * Ability to speak and write standard English appropriate in a public school setting.
