Supervises day-to day operations and staff of MS sites. 80% of time should be spent in managing duties, no more than 20% in operating production equipment. Develops, implements and reviews related procedures. Invoices accounts and interacts with customer; assists in maintaining acceptable profit levels and ensures that customer expectations are met. High degree of customer interface. Responsible for 3 - 6 employees or up to $50K in services revenue per month at a single site.

* Manages total production labor percentages by achieving percentage of production worker labor and quality control labor established by the company.

* Handles formal contact with the customer on a daily basis in MS and as needed in BDS/LDS.
* Provides training on work flow and machine operations when necessary.
* Ensures the quality of operations for shift by assisting in the achievement of goals in Audit and Deadline compliance.
* Increases employee retention by achieving turnover and average tenure goals.
* Maintains efficient workflow by holding direct reports accountable for quality and efficiency of their work.
* Ensures that location is properly staffed by matching employee skills and equipment with production demands.
* Facilities resolution of issues concerning pricing, orders-in and invoicing by interacting and communicating with sales department.
* Motivates employees and recognizes their accomplishments in a timely manner.
* Clearly communicates job expectations/consequences of employees by training, cross-training, coaching, counseling, directing, evaluating the work of subordinates to increase their work output and work quality.
* Completes site reports and other paperwork as necessary.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
Typically Required:
* High school or GED is required.
* 3+ years experience in a related field is required.
* Experience in delivering classroom and/or informal training sessions are required.
* Experience in operation of the most advanced machines, performing complex jobs, is required.

VIEW JOBS 2/15/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-05-15T00:00 Job Description Summary Job Description Reporting into the Associate Director, Operations Finance - Procurement, the Manager - Operations Finance - Procurement will be responsible for supporting Procurement Leadership and Operations Finance Leadership in BDX 3rd-party material analysis and indirect OCOS costs. The incumbent will be required to collaborate with Finance Leaders and Functional Business Partners to ensure the accuracy of monthly reporting, quarterly projections and annual budgets as well as to monitor, track and analyze actual performance against plans for purposes of providing analysis and commentary for management decision support. Manage BDX Material Planning Activities * Work with the Operations Finance – Procurement team to manage BDX Material Forecasting Process, coordinating Global Procurement inputs and communication with Plants & Business Units. Lead Efficiency Improvements on Overall Process. * Provide Financial analysis around BDX Commodity Materials & PPV. * Partner with the Operations Finance COE's and different Finance Teams to Gain efficiencies around the regular material and plant budgeting and month-end processes. * Supports all planning and budgeting effort for Cost Improvement Projects around Direct Materials & OCOS Indirect costs. * Maintains financial planning models, develops and monitors forecasts, trends and supports performance management analysis and commentary development Partner with Global Procurement Category Teams * Partner with Procurement Leadership and Business Partners to proactively manage Material Costs and Analyze Inflation * Provide Financial Analysis of Direct Material and Indirect OCOS Category Strategies * Provide Financial Analysis to support Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier CI Teams * Ad-hoc project analysis as required. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's Degree required in one of these fields: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or other business-related field of study. MBA Preferred * Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant finance experience with a focus on planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting required. * Professional experience in a large global multi-segment business preferred * Ability to travel occasionally * Strong quantitative and analytical skills for creating insightful and actionable reporting and analysis * Ability to go beyond the numbers, discern trends, determine the root cause of variances, and consider the broad business implications in helping identify opportunities and improve performance * Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures – GAAP/IFRS * Advanced trend analysis, forecasting, and modeling abilities * Candidate must be highly proficient working with Microsoft Excel and a strong working knowledge of other common applications such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, SAP and BPC Initiative / Adaptability * Highly responsive, with a strong sense of urgency paired with an definitive emphasis on quality control * Ability to adapt, learn quickly and work independently on multiple competing projects and deadlines * Self-starter who can think and work independently and on teams Communication / Collaboration * Strong work ethic * Proven ability to communicate well with all levels of management both internal and external; must be effective in converting data into useful information and communicating that information through concise commentary * Collaborative working style, ability to foster effective working relationships and build trust across a team environment * Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed, challenging environment with strong attention to detail #LI-GA Primary Work Location USA NJ - Franklin Lakes Additional Locations Work Shift BD (Becton, Dickinson And Company) Franklin Lakes NJ
