Job Summary: The Site Manager and Technical Lead will be responsible for the optimal operation of the Las Vegas Graduate Health Science Campus and lead the campus's IT team.

Responsibilities for this position include overseeing the internal and external service providers for IT, facilities, safety, and security of the campus establishments. The position will manage remote site operations to include, but not limited to monitoring incoming tickets for all locations (currently Las Vegas, OI, Downtown Oahu and various MCPs), responding to HPU constituents, and identifying, prioritizing, resolving IT issues, and identifying trends both recurring and cyclic. This role will assist with prioritizing incidents and setting user expectations for ITS services.

Ensure high levels of customer service quality and availability. This position is located at the Las Vegas campus with the occasional travel required to the main campus on Oahu. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in computer related field. Five plus years work experience working in technical operations and helpdesk environment with at least 3-5-years lead experience. 1 -2 Years experience in office or site management. Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, networks, and PC operating systems including MACs and Linux operating systems.

Available to work outside regular business hours. Available to travel to main campus on Oahu periodically Desired Qualifications: Experience in a university or college environment.

Call center/remote support experience. Strong knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards including VDI technologies Extensive application support experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe applications, and other HPU supported software. Basic Audio-Visual maintenance and troubleshooting skillset of classroom technology.

Proven experience in providing technology support for students, faculty, and staff in higher education environment. Other Qualifications: Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

Excellent written and oral communications. Strong time/priority management skills. Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Proven ability to conduct analysis, research, make recommendations and train individuals or groups about complex technical IT related issues in business-friendly and user-friendly language. Highly self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail.

Ability to perform general mathematical calculation for the purpose of creating metrics, scenario cases, and budgets. Key Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions: 1) Site Management and Supervision (50%) Primary interface between remote sites' management and central IT at the downtown Honolulu campus. Supervises other technology staff.

Collaborates with the Facilities to provide for the safety and security of the campus. Serves as the point of contact for IT, cleaning, health and safety, and security needs of the campus. Coordinate with landlord to address all facility's needs.

Serve as the main line of communication between faculty and main campus. Oversee the main phone line and email for the Las Vegas campus. Assist with the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures for the Las Vegas Campus.

Create/maintain expense reports and complete P-Card reconciliation. Main support point of contact for site specific technology and facility improvements. 2) Technology Management (40%) Responsible for the technology and Audio-Visual equipment used on site. Work incoming IT ticket requests for all HPU campuses.

Vet site requests for new hardware/software, ensuring conformity with ITS policies & processes when implementing, emphasis on licensing and scalability. All Asset Management of the Las Vegas Campus Documenting and cross training team members when at Las Vegas/Oahu campuses Continue to update the IT knowledge base internally and externally. Designs and enforces request handling and escalation policies and procedures. 3) Emergency Response and Support Protocols (5%) In the event of an emergency, the employee holding this position is required to "report to duty" in accordance with the University's emergency operations plan and/or the employee's department's emergency response and/or recovery plans.

Familiarity with those plans and regular training to implement those plans is required. During or immediately following an emergency, the employee will be notified to assist in the emergency response efforts, and mobilize other staff members as needed, serving as a communications hub. 4) Performs other projects and related duties as assigned (5%) Actively participates as an effective member of team by completing assigned duties, accepting additional assignments or reassignments. Assists with seasonal peaks.
