Site Maintenance Manager Position at a Leading Chemical Plant

Join our dynamic management team as the Site Maintenance Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in guiding our maintenance team through a comprehensive maintenance and reliability program. This position is essential for optimizing our chemical processing operations and ancillary equipment through strategic maintenance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and optimize maintenance team operations focusing on safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Develop and enforce preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
• Champion reliability best practices, minimizing downtime and maximizing plant efficiency.
• Spearhead corrective and preventive actions to resolve maintenance issues, promoting continuous improvement across all plant operations.
• Support and enforce Process Safety Management (PSM), health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Craft and manage the maintenance budget, establish clear goals, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
• Oversee inventory management for spare parts and critical equipment.
• Design and implement training programs for maintenance staff to ensure high skill levels and performance.
• Collaborate with site management to ensure seamless integration of maintenance strategies and reduction of downtime.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with over 10 years of leadership experience in plant maintenance and reliability, preferably in PSM regulated chemical environments.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards including PSM, OSHA, EPA, and NFPA.
• Demonstrated ability in leading diverse maintenance teams and managing comprehensive maintenance programs.
• Proficiency in maintenance planning, executing plant turnarounds, and utilizing CMMS.
