The Dow Chemical Company has an exciting opportunity for Site Logistics Packagers in Louisville, KY.


  • Follows Operating Discipline principles, procedures and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.

  • Operates and field checks process equipment. Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems.

  • Performs tasks assigned to operations as directed - including field checks, equipment preparation, samples, etc.

  • Ensures operational activities and process performance are aligned with plant and business goals.

  • Uses trouble shooting skills to resolve process related deviations and problems.

  • As required, initiates and participates in Root Cause Investigations.

  • Coaches and train others on plant operations.

  • Uses process knowledge and skills to make improvements in plant performance and Operating Discipline.

  • Monitors, collects and inputs plant metrics for Statistical Process Control (S.P.C.), asset utilization, conversion costs, and production yields and identify opportunities for plant optimization.

  • Utilizes Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools to optimize plant operation and provide feedback on the effectiveness of the SPC tools.

  • Other responsibilities may be assigned based on job role and department.

  • Perform process equipment troubleshooting, minor repairs, improvements and preventative maintenance, utilizing appropriate processes and disciplines

Required Qualifications:

  • Current, valid US driver's license.

  • Willing to adhere to all safety standards, including the smoke free and drug-free workplace policy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel, and have the ability to learn new systems quickly.

  • Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including every second weekend.

  • Must be able to provide overtime coverage, as required.

  • Must be able to perform sustained manual activities at moderate to heavy levels of exertion.

  • Must be willing and able (medically approved) to participate in the fire brigade

  • Must be able to wear a full face respirator and other personal protective equipment

  • Must be able to work in confined spaces.

  • Must be able to periodically work outdoors in extreme weather conditions (e.g. heat, cold)

  • Must be able to work at elevations.

  • Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.

  • Must be able to drive a forklift.

  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.

  • Must have good organizational skills.

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.

  • Able to work within an empowered team environment.

  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years chemical industry experience.

  • Previous experience with Outlook and SAP.


  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.

  • Associate's degree/4 years military experience.

Pharmacist Clinical (Oncology focused) - All anthem site locations (PS13556) Summary: Responsible for managing the selection and utilization of pharmaceuticals and supports core clinical programs such as DUR, DIS and formulary management. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: * Researches and synthesizes detailed clinical data related to pharmaceuticals * Critically evaluates high quality clinical evidence related to the efficacy, safety, and attributes of drugs, and biologics * Prepares and presents therapeutic class reviews and drug class reviews to the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee * Drug pipeline monitoring and evaluation support * Provides drug information support to internal stakeholders as needed * Provide clinical support for various internal clinical programs * Develops newsletters related to clinical efficacy, safety, and clinical impact for key internal stakeholders * Presents and collaborates with internal stakeholders (medical directors, pharmacists, nurses, business area leads, etc.) * Serves as a clinical resource to other pharmacists on areas such as prospective, inpatient and retrospective DURs and provides dosage conversion and clinical support for therapeutic interventions * Prepares clinical evidence information for network physicians * Daily workflow monitoring and prioritization * Collaboration with team pharmacists * Serves as a subject matter lead for select therapeutic classes * Provides Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee support for Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid, drug monograph development, critical evaluation of clinical trial data, and integrated pharmacy and medical analyses to determine which drugs will likely result in better clinical outcomes and improve the health of our members * Requires an active unrestricted license as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in state of practice; minimum 2 years of managed care pharmacy (PBM) experience or residency in lieu of work experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background * PharmD required * Minimum 1 year of oncology training, skills or experience preferred * Travel up to 25% required * Minimum 1 year of experience in drug evaluation and synthesis or drug information residency preferred * Must have strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skill Anthem, Inc. is ranked as one of America's Most Admired Companies among health insurers by Fortune magazine and is a 2018 DiversityInc magazine Top 50 Company for Diversity.
