TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking to fill a Site Leader Position in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Description:

Primary areas of responsibility include (but not limited to):

  • Supervise various sorting activities & Quality Inspectors (time sheets, assign duties, training, etc.).

  • Conduct ongoing audits of effectiveness including containment, sorting and rework methods.

  • Coordinate changes to containment, sorting and rework methods.

  • Collect, record and validate accurate data.

  • Tag and isolate defective material.

  • Provide description and/or justification for defective material.

  • Perform visual, mechanical and functional verification of parts to ensure compliance to set specifications and quality standards.

  • Perform sorting of product (act as a Quality Inspector) when required.

  • Comply with relevant local Health and Safety legislation.

  • Support Company Health and Safety Policies.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and mandatory skills include:

  • Secondary school diploma desired.

  • Previous supervisory experience an asset.

  • Knowledge of the automotive manufacturing industry and containment processes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multitask.

  • Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced challenging environment.

  • Ability to take initiative and recognize needs.

  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential material.

  • Intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Access.

  • Must be flexible regarding shifts and overtime.

Act as single point of contact and represent IT within plant local management as well as working with other IT groups to deliver business solutions. Develop MES scalable solutions to other manufacturing sites when applicable. Investigate, address and resolve complex system issues or enhancements to keep a continuous improvement on the shop floor applications. Assist system users in solving day to day issues and provide training. Participate in strategic systems implementations to minimize business disruptions. Play a key role in significant business process/strategic/system design improvements leading the shop floor optimization. Support continuous improvements events providing a combined view of business and system processes. Job Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. * Three (3) years of experience in large manufacturing operations. * Additional experience must include: * Multiple manufacturing processes with multi-national sites; * System applications and ERPs with emphasis on lean and discrete manufacturing, bill of materials, warehouse, shipping, and inventory; * Developing comprehensive requirements for designing manufacturing systems for assembly operations, sub-assembly, quality, plant maintenance, warehousing and integrations with third party software providers; * Completing Impact Assessments, SOX audits including segregation of duties, roles and responsibilities; * Writing business cases that identify value of the change; * Software Development Lifecycle management methodology (SureStep, AIM, Waterfall); * Design and development of systems solutions with .Net platforms, PLCs integrations with ERPs, SQL, SQL server database, mobile development, middleware platforms and ITLT. * Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship * Employer: Schlage Lock Company, LLC (Allegion) * Work Location: 2720 Tobey Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46219 * Apply online at https://www.allegion.com.
