General Function: Leads all aspects of assigned campuses' operations, creation of culture, and achievement of strategic plans objectives.
Qualifications
Preferred experience as Crossing Instructor for 1 -2 years.
Proven and demonstrated organizational leadership skills.
Professional cross platform communication skills (i.e. students, staff, and partners)
Preferred Indiana Teaching or CTE Licensure (All grade levels/subjects accepted)
Responsibilities/Functions:
1.Demonstrate strong commitment to the Crossing's mission, strategic plan, and students.
a. Actively model a lifestyle consistent with the Crossing's core values.
2.Represent the Crossing and campus to students, families, staff and the community.
3.Shepherd staff and students to ensure the campus culture reflects the Crossing vision and mission statements with a focus on healthy character programming including: Heartcheck, Family Time, God Talk, Family Night, Mentorship, Staff/Student Engagement and Discipleship.
a. Actively participate and model student engagement and mentorship in and outside of school hours.
b. Lead Family Time weekly
c. Lead and participate in Spiritual Retreats and Family Nights - both a minimum of once a semester.
d. Lead and participate in campus activities regularly
4.Ensure full implementation of the Crossing National Model on campus and work towards Best Practices. Provide leadership and training when necessary (i.e. demonstrate home visits, access local resources, etc.)
5.When necessary assume an Student of Record (SOR) load to meet staffing ratios.
6.Ensure retention of students by ensuring Career Pathway Instructors utilize all tools at his/her disposal (See CPI Job Description for more details)
7.Focus on development to secure Business Partnerships aligned to Crossing National Model.
Community Liaison:
Foster and maintain community resources which benefit student population.
Be knowledgeable and active in community resources.
Organize and attend external community events to increase Crossing exposure and resource possibilities.
Work alongside Regional Coordinator to develop and maintain strong business and school partnerships
Lead Fundraising Initiatives:
DAD Program
Banquets
All Banquets must be conducted in the National Crossing Model
All Banquets must be attended by the Chief Officers
8.Oversee Campus behavior management utilizing all resources available.
9.Provide Data Driven accountability for academic and WBL performance including credits and certificates earned and ensure alignment of all Campus and Faith-Based Mentoring programming to district Best Practices.
a. Realization of standardized testing pass rate goals.
Communicate effectively with public school partners per the direction of direct supervisor.
Formally evaluate staff, per direction of Regional Coordinator, 2x per year
Manage recruitment and enrollment processes for eligible students
Manage safety compliance and drills (intruder, fire and storm) for the campus
Work with Grant Administrator and Finance to ensure grant writing, reporting, and spending of grant funds are appropriate
