The Site Leader is accountable for achieving business objectives in full compliance with

government regulations and internal company standards and values. The incumbent has

direct responsibility for site functions of Production (Manufacturing and Packaging),

Technical Services, Engineering & Maintenance, EH&S, Supply Chain, Operations

Management, OpEx and indirect site responsibility for Finance, HR and Communications/ Public Relations

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Defines and sets the site strategic direction including supply operations, product and process improvements, customer service and compliance environment in alignment with the goals and objectives of the operating unit and commercial business

Provides leadership for management personnel responsible for the production of licensed

products to ensure conformance with all regulatory requirements, cGMPs and company

policies, procedures and product strategies

Oversees and participates in the recruitment, selection and development of site personnel

Ensures the appropriate interaction with support groups such as QA, QC,

Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Technical Services, EH&S and others to evaluate production needs, resolve issues, provide resources and reset direction in order to maximize effective

operations and supply of products

Provides support for new and existing products by overseeing new process

development and associated in-process testing, new assay development and launch

planning

Supports and co-leads production, quality and supply forums to support existing production, future product and product enhancement

Formulates overall manufacturing policies and strategies to ensure consistency and

compliance of manufacturing procedures

Ensures plant operations are in compliance with corporate standards as well as federal

regulations including; cGMP, OSHA, EEOC, DEA, DEP, etc

Leads culture change in alignment with OWN IT; leads by example

Assesses and formulates a talent strategy to identify current and future talent needs, address critical gaps and ensure the readiness of candidates for critical site roles

Accountable for the effective execution of capital investment programs to meet the

needs of the business. Responsible for operational performance management systems and metrics and the issue identification, resolution, and/or escalation as necessary

Responsible for site operating budget consistent with short and long-term business and divisional needs

Assures good relationship with local community and regulatory and governmental agencies

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in Science, Engineering or related technical discipline.

Masters degree preferred

Minimum of fifteen (15) years directly related experience in pharmaceutical/medical device/consumer environment with a track record of increased responsibilities including a minimum of five (5) years in operations

Strong organizational and planning skills, as well as a high energy level and initiative

Experience in dealing with regulatory compliance, regulators and agencies

Comprehensive understanding of cGMPs and demonstrated success leading cGMP operations and interacting with regulators

Demonstrated success growing leaders, building strong teams, and creating a true ownership culture through strong leadership by example

Demonstrated aptitude and attitude to get immersed in the resolution of technical challenges and technical advancements

Deep knowledge of site operational activities, finance and budget management

Strong knowledge of and commitment to Quality, Operational Excellence and EHS

Demonstrated change agility to successfully manage complexity and multiple priorities

Strong strategic thinking; problem solving; written, verbal, and presentation skills

Ability to understand and effectively utilize financial analyses to make high quality,

customer focused, cost effective decision in a competitive environment

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including presentation skills

SUMMARY: Perform on-site installation, service, preventative maintenance, site surveys, repair and service on a variety of beverage dispensing equipment at customer locations and facilities. Provide customer support activities for equipment. Serve as on-site customer contact on technical and service related problems. Instruct customers in proper use and operation of equipment. Assure highest level of customer satisfaction and drink quality. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Receive dispatched service calls via dispatcher, cell phone, voice mail or other company methods and ensure prompt response. * Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose and repair reported service issues and all other problems encountered, perform a quality drink check (ratio/brix, temperature and taste). Assess if equipment can be repaired or make recommendations for replacement. * Perform preventative maintenance as needed. * Train customers in maintaining equipment as required. Report any misuse of equipment to supervisor. * Follow up with account until call is completed and update manager/supervisor, other technicians and dispatcher as necessary to assure customer satisfaction. * Close out all calls on hand held or with dispatch, upon completion in a timely manner. * Report all service activities accurately on hand held or invoice/service orders at the completion of every call.
