This position reports to Senior Manager External Mfg Ops Lead, Contract Operations and is based at Fort Washington, PA. (Scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2026.)

Role reports to: Senior Manager External Mfg Ops Lead, Contract Operations

Location: Fort Washington, PA (Scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2026.)

Travel %: 25%

Pay: $97,000 to $166,750

What you will do

The Site Lead, External Manufacturing is responsible manages external suppliers who manufacture and package products such as Tylenol, Motrin and Zyrtec across several technology platforms including solids, liquids and specialty formulations. The Site Lead Manager is accountable for achieving performance metrics in areas of site execution, cost, service, quality, and environmental health & safety while leading all aspects of manufacturing operations within the assigned sites to include product supply, logistics and distribution, capacity/planning, capabilities assessment, inventory control, purchasing, quality services, contract discussions, and engineering. Critical responsibilities include leading multi-functional teams to resolve product supply issues and get results on a worldwide, regional and local basis, facilitate execution of legally binding supply agreements, support and ensure achievement of monthly plan attainment goals, identify and deliver Cost Improvement Projects (CIPs) to lower total product cost, identify and acquire resources to solve issues and develop manufacturing strategies to improve site performance and product supply, coordinate new product launches at external manufacturing sites, and ensure customer commitments for product availability are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assure the compliance to all quality control policies, procedures and systems to ensure the timely release of high-quality product in support of the supply chain process.

  • Responsible for self-identifying site gaps and risks, then working with multi-disciplinary teams and leadership to develop, complete and maintain action plans and site strategies. This includes but is not limited to capacity, materials, costs, quality, EH&S, and business continuity plans (BCP).

  • Cascades and translates strategic and tactical plans to develop their teams understanding of their contribution to achieving higher level goals including Area, Site and Company business objectives.

  • Influences EM network strategies, leads cross-functional teams and be the operations lead for larger or sophisticated projects including new site start-ups and/or multi-region projects.

  • Accountable for site spend and project budgets. This includes delivering on CIPs or projects to lead and reduce site and budget spending to hit company spend reduction goals.

  • Responsible to maintain supplier compliance with supply agreements including cost management, and work with sourcing where needed for new/expiring contracts.

  • Be able to quickly pull together and lead multi-disciplined teams for issue resolution to ensure continuity of product supply.

  • Pro-actively finding opportunities or risks at sites or within Kenvue processes. This includes being the project manager or utilizing process excellence skills for opportunities approved at the appropriate governance forums.

  • Promote and maintain professional communication standards to those inside and outside of the organization.

  • Interaction and good interpersonal skills with suppliers is critical to this role.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS Engineering, Business is required.

  • 8-10 Years work experience is required.

  • Operations experience to effectively handle production at an EM site is required.

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in OTC ingestible products including monograph and NDA products is required.

  • Proven efficiency in establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships with internal and external business partners to meet tactical and strategic business needs is required.

  • Demonstrated technical project leadership capabilities with experience working in a cross-functional team is required.

  • Travel 25% to external manufacturing sites is required as needed and can range from one day to as long as one week per trip (domestic and international).

Desired Qualifications

  • MA/MS/MBA desirable

  • Establishing and monitoring and reacting to Key Performance Indicators and Supply Agreement requirements for critical vendors is preferred.

  • Knowledge of planning systems such as ERP, MRP, and/or SAP.

  • Additional background in planning, QA, project management, sourcing, process excellence and/or technical operations.
