Purpose:

Are you looking to lead a dynamic New Product Development team at a large manufacturing facility? Our Site Integration Leader drives the plant New Product process, Total Cost Productivity, product quality improvements, and compliance projects into Delta's manufacturing operations. This role will mentor and lead a team of local site project managers, product engineers, manufacturing / process engineers, automation/controls engineers, data specialists and planner / schedulers as they integrate product and process changes into the operation. You will collaborate closely with engineers and technical managers in the product function to continuously improve product design for manufacturability and the processes by which projects are integrated into manufacturing operations. This role serves as a member of both the Product Leadership Team aiding in the vetting of NPD gate risks, opportunities, and approvals, and the plant management team as an integral role in the overall management of the site!

Responsibilities:

  • Drive NPD and site integration execution to critical metric targets and business objectives.

  • Ensure NPD equipment procurement is aligned with operational needs.

  • Development of technical staff

  • Support and implement plant safety initiatives through NPD work and daily activities.

  • Maintain plant-level strategy as a priority when developing implementation plans.

  • Evolve team processes and procedures to both align with product processes and team metrics.

  • Ensure all inputs for product and process integration are appropriately assigned for team and individual strengths and capacity.

  • Focus team's work on customer satisfaction.

  • Address operations and product concerns from quality issues to compliance issues and design for assembly issues.

  • Digest, synthesize, and summarize the product plan for alignment of operational capability and capacity planning.

  • Reporting on project/activity performance

Education & Experience:

  • B.S. degree in Engineering or related field

  • 4 or more years of related experience

  • Proven understanding of New Product Development, Project Management and manufacturing engineering principles and practices

  • Familiar with budget development and management

  • Team building and talent development.

Hiring Range: $114,800.00 - $180,400.00
