Site HOS Leader

The Site HOS Leader develops HOS talent, including Lean Expert and Master skills and develops specialist knowledge within the site. Orchestrates the use of embedded site resources. Is responsible for preparing, deploying, monitoring and Project Management of the HOS deployment. Serves as change agent with the plant leadership team and plant employees. Key mentor and coach of improvement for Team Leaders. Continually challenge conventional thinking, drive accountability for site or functional results and deployment, and sustain the application of the HOS. Leads site pre-analysis that includes base-lining operational and financial measurements.
Supports continuous improvement following implementation.
Apply and lead RPS/DMAIC/PDCA
Drive continuous improvement following the HOS OTC implementation.
Advocate and use the OD tools (OD Acumen)
Explain and apply Gemba walk technique
Able to teach how to build the MOS at various levels
Lead all activities to implement HOS OTC at the site or in preparation for eventual implementation and participates on the Site HOS Steering Team.
Six Sigma Expertise and strong experience related to VOC/QFD, DMAIC/PDCA tools
Teaches continuous improvement thinking & leads Kaizen events daily
Explain and apply Walk the story technique
Able to explain GOLD expectations, and Key Gold processes and focus area connection with OTC
Financial knowledge coming from Finance acumen (Finance for non-Finance functions)
Understand the business model for the site
Coaches & mentors Site Leader all ISC leaders & HOS Specialists in HOS OTC Deployment, aligning and linking HOS with plant performance and priorities.
Understand, the main principles/steps of NPI process with OTC
Explain and apply Change management principles & tools
20 Leads and facilitates site communication, education and training. 20 Organize and lead rapid Kaizen/ Facilitate problem solving 20 Teach and promote HOS 20 Review of HOS tools 20 Project management
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, Lean Manufacturing, Organizational Development
Green Belt Certification
Black Belt or Lean Expert Certification
Excellent communication skills
Significant project management
Significant experience leading Kaizen events
Dependability and responsiveness to others
Ability to influence at varying levels of the organization
Ability to independently deliver on complex situations
Ability to lead and motivate high performing teams
