Job Summary
The School of Education at GGC is seeking a site coordinator to support the 21CCLC Grizzly Academy Dreamers Program. As a site coordinator of the Grizzly Academy Dreamers Program, this position will be providing leadership and organization of an afterschool program serving 3rd-5th grade students. A site coordinator will be responsible for the organization and leadership of all on site staff as well as oversight of programming and all aspects of the afterschool program on GGC's campus.
Responsibilities
Organization, oversight and execution of all afterschool program elements
Organize and prepare schedules, agendas and other materials to ensure the smooth operation of afterschool programming
Progress monitor programming and report/share results with Program Director, staff, student, parents, and other local school personnel
Lead all staff trainings and initiatives for program success
Participate in meetings with staff to debrief and discuss student progress and strategies to implement high impact practices and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in and or previous experience in working with elementary age students as a teacher or tutor
Previous experience in leadership or leading a team
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
Ability to apply judgment and discretion when dealing with confidential student information
Ability to be highly organized, attentive to details, time management, and multi-tasking skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
