The Simulation Technician reports to and receives work direction derivatives from the Project Manager. The Simulation Technician will provide support for:
  • Execution of Navy Expeditionary Warfighting Development Center (NEXWDC) phase training;
  • Navy Expeditionary Staffs performance evaluation in integrated/advanced training events; exercise development and planning in support of Fleet and training/assessment exercises;
  • Expeditionary Warfare (EXW), Irregular Warfare (IW), Construction (CON), and Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (ATFP) tactics analysis, review and standardization;
  • Navy Expeditionary concepts review and proof of concept in fleet exercises;
  • Mission area effectiveness assessments, and gap identification and analysis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support NEXWDC with ongoing research, development, and integration of Command and Control, Communications, and Computer Information (C4I) systems and equipment.
  • Provide exercise live and synthetic communications support to include integration of simulation support hardware/software for advanced Navy Expeditionary Combat Forces (NECF) training and assessment.
  • Operate and maintain simulation computer workstations and networks in support of simulation based events.
  • Maintain expertise and provide technical guidance to NEXWDC staff on the collaboration tools utilized by the Expeditionary enterprise to include Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) wide area network, Digital Radio Management System (DRMS), CENTRIX, CASE, Command, Control, Personal Computer (C2PC), Global Command and Control Systems (GCCS) Shareportal, and Defense Collaboration Services (DCS) to enable mission execution.
  • In the design and execution of live, virtual and constructive (LVC) training events, integrate Navy Expeditionary Enterprise C4I systems into the Navy synthetic communications and control architecture: NCTE and DRMS.
  • All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
  • Bachelors Degree preferred, HS diploma required.
EXPERIENCE
  • Five (5) years of military active service experience in Navy expeditionary communications, U.S. Navy synthetic C4I architecture, and DOD modeling and simulation.
  • Previous experience with MTWS or other simulation models such as JCATS, JSAF, OneSAF, or VBS.
  • Recent (within the last five years) and relevant Navy live, virtual, constructive, and simulation training development and execution experience at the tactical and operational levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform diverse duties operating under deadline constraints.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
  • Daily travel in local area during work day (including use of personal vehicle).

In collaboration with the Performance Management team and the business leaders, the Analyst assists in the development and management of the system that monitors LoanCare's operational performance. The Analyst will have a variety of responsibilities and roles including business analysis, reporting & dashboard, developing predictive models and project management. This position requires a refined analytical skillset and the ability to quickly and succinctly communicate complex business financial issues to Management ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare the daily, weekly, monthly business performance management dashboards. * Analyze performance, using statistical analysis & data mining programs such as R, SAS, Stata or SPSS. SQL or other programming may also be used. Identify trends, patterns and relationships in the data that provide actionable insight. * Present findings using data visualization techniques to present the results in understandable formats for use by the decision makers within the company. * Provide business and technical support as required for the performance management system for both external and internal users * Develop predictive models to forecast historical trends into future expectable results. * Document the data gathering, analysis and reporting procedures for assigned activities. * May have direct client contact in support of LoanCare's client relationship process. * All other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in finance or an analytical discipline is required. * Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial services focusing on financial, portfolio or operational performance analysis; mortgage servicing operations preferred. * Excellent, analytical, problem solving, research, interpretive, and decision making skills. Ability to take initiative and work under minimal supervision, and work under time pressure and deadlines and juggle multiple priorities. * Strong relationship management skills; ability to collaborate with people at all levels throughout the organization. * Excellent communication (verbal & written) and organizational skills. * Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Looker or other BI tools. * Experienced in using Excel, Word and PowerPoint. * Experience with PL/SQL or T-SQL. * Experience with Python, R, SAS or SPSS. * Experience using SSIS, Alteryx, Talend or other ETL technologies.
